Redken Extreme Deep Fuel treatment - does exactly what it says
Advantages: Deep conditioning, strenght, shine. Hair is more manageable, soft and looks more attractive Disadvantages: None
...I saw a review of Redken Extreme Deep Fuel on the Internet and it was mentioning promised exceptional improvement in hair condition lasting for 5-8 washes. The treatment has three main active ingredients: proteins, ceramids and lipids, which are supposed to make the hair stronger, shinier and easier to manage. Encouraged by this, I decided to give it a try, but was very skeptical. After trying several different brands before (none of them really ... ...day that it arrived.
Redken Extreme Deep Fuel comes in a small box with 5 individual sachets of the treatment, each for a single use. I used just half of the sachet most of the time as I thought that was enough to cover all my hair (which is just below shoulder length). The consistency of the product is like creamed egg yolk (I couldn't think of any other comparison!), not very runny but also not very thick, and also feels like there is quite a ...

Taming my mad mop
Advantages: - Disadvantages: -
...this was an assortment of Charles Worthington hair products with the labels stuck on slightly skew-whiff, one of which was the Relax and Unwind Straightening Cream. Now, my natural hair is thick, bouncy - and utterly mad . My hair seems to be incapable of deciding whether it is straight or curly, with the result that I have some crazy kinks, accompanied by a vast amount of frizz. My mum doesn't straighten her hair, so I was happy enough to take this ... ...packaging is as you see above (except that mine had the wonky label!) so I won't bore you by going into infinite detail about it . The back of the product tells me that this product will do the following: Relax kinks, waves and curls with long lasting hold to keep straightened styles in place . Increase hairs resistance to heat styling damage. Give a moisture boost with Panthenol and smooth the hair for a high shine finish . This all sounds really ...

My hair was not as bling as it could have been!
Advantages: Made my hair smell nice Disadvantages: Made it greasy and didn't live up to the claims on the back
Lee Stafford makes a range of hair care and styling products for Boots. Recently there was a special offer on – three for two. I went in to buy my normal poker straight balm when I noticed this wake up call spray.
The bottle made great claims, that it would refresh your hair and make it sparkle and shine without having to wash it. I wash my hair every other day and this spray appealed because it would make my hair smell fresh and leave it revitalised ... ...generation.
On the back Lee gives some tips on how to use it, so I thought I would try out each one and give my verdict:
Use to damp down rebellious morning hair
For this, I just sprayed onto my hair the day after I had washed it and then styled it as usual. I don’t really have rebellious morning hair, but all I found it did was make it greasy. I sprayed two sprays onto my hair and then tied it back and found that yes, it did look shiny ...

Want to reduce the frizz? Its Kerestase Oleo Relax serum
Advantages: Fights the frizz, cuts down on time for styling your hair Disadvantages: None at all
...opinion on it.
Kerastase itself is a hair care collection, formed in 1964; the products are innovative and use formulae which have been built by the worlds leading hair care professionals. The Oleo Relax product comes in a classy orange glass bottle with a pump to release the serum. The bottle is 50 ml in size and tall and slim in shape. It is really attractive in packaging and really does look good on the bathroom shelf! The bottle does come with ... ...had not read the back of the bottle I would have probably put too much on my hair! You need to apply 1-2 pumps of it onto towel dried hair, I recommend 1 pump, I have thick hair and this is plenty for me, I rub it through my fingertips and then I tip my head upside down and apply the serum to the ends first (this is where my hair frizzes worst) and finishing with the roots. (There are clear and concise instructions on the bottle)
The product contains ...

Tony and Guy Smoothing Balm
Advantages: easy to use, great results, smells great Disadvantages: price
I tried this balm because it was bought to me as a gift at my birthday and have to admit that it leaves you hair really managable and shiney. This product when applied to your hair smooths it making it look less frizzy and dry and also makes it soft and healthy looking and full of moisture. After using this product I noticed that my hair was much more softer than usual and easier to straighten, it left my hair easily managed to style and it smelt ... ...This balm is applied to your hair after washing you apply a small amount of this balm to your hair and then blow dry and style as usual, its so easy to use that you dont even have to wash it out. This smoothing balm doesnt come cheap, alike many Tony and Guy products and depending on the size of bottle that you buy and where you buy it, it can cost anything from £1.50 (for the smallest bottle) to £9 (for the larger bottle). I think that it is worth ...
