What A Close Shave !!!
Review of Philips QC 5170 by
bazzaoleary77
Advantages: Close Shave, Ideal For Self Use
Disadvantages: Only 2 Combs
I have nearly always shaved my hair off I never really know why could be force of habit I suppose having my mother shaving my hair as a child the Army shaving it as a Teen and me shaving it for ease's sake as I get older. The benefit's of a shaved head are easy to clean and keep clean, ready to go at the drop of a hat and no expensive hairdresser bill's when you have your own clippers.
The main problem I have always found when shaving my own hair ... ...actually are designed for the self user in the Army and as a child it was always done for me but my mum lives 30 miles away lol and I am not sure the Army would like me dropping in for a free haircut. So when I found the Phillips QC5170 I was a little dubious but the idea of a 180 degree head appealed as surely it would make life easier when getting around the back.
I had previously tried many different brand's of clipper all of which had cost in ...

On your head be it. (Hair).
Review of Philips QC 5010 by
robbo2000
Advantages: The wonder of the Flexicomb
Disadvantages: Not cordless
...head, then please buy a PHILIPS QC 5010 and let me know how it works. But don't come anywhere near me. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE LENGTH ONCE THE FLEXICOMB IS LOCKED IN PLACE, EH?
You twist the base of the razor till it increases/decreases the distance between the flexicomb and the blades. There's a little window at the bottom with a number indicating what length in millimetres it will cut your hair. It goes from 3 mm to 21 mm, at 3mm intervals. This ... ...is super easy. Using the Philips QC 5010 is just easy.
YEAH, WHAT ELSE?
Er, it's pretty light. The boxed weight is only 1kg, so unboxed it's, well, a bit less than 1kg. This may be a good thing if you are a weakling, or a bad thing if you ever drop it and it breaks. I am unwilling to drop it on purpose to see if it smashes; I would do anything for love (of Ciao) but I won't do that.
It's not cordless, but frankly, I don't care about that. Imagine ...

This is the best Hair Clipper on the Market!!
Review of Remington SCC100 by
willis1977
Advantages: The professional looking hair cut you get
Disadvantages: none
...when I first used the Remington SCC100 - put simply, it is brilliant!! The finish you get looks like (cliche alert!) you've just stepped out of the hairdressers. Its uncanny how it looks exactly the same as if you'd got it done professionally. The device itself is very easy to use, and fits well in the hand. Its curved design ensures that the cut is level, and you can choose from 5 different settings; 1 being the shortest which just happens to be ... ...go away, but with the Remington SCC100 you can really see what you've cut, which wasn't always the case with my previous clippers. I am truly staggered by its capability - hence why Im writing this review not more than 1 hour from when I first used it! Perhaps when Im brave enough I'll try the clippers without the guard to see if you can get an even shorter cut.
So, if you're in any doubt about buying the Remington SCC100, let me assure you that ...

Good Product for beginners
Review of Remington HC 500 A by
Prashat
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Don't know yet
...in this department, but being Remington product I bought it from Amazon.
I can tell you being first time user also I could cut my hairs evenly. It has cordless rechargeable base, which is really helpful when using it in shower. It has y settings from 3mm to 18 mm. I think this should be enough length for most of us.
The little knob on left hand side is to angulate these blades when necessary.
It has been provided with scissor, comb and oil.
The ...

Review of Babyliss 7434U by
1st2thebar
Advantages: hair grooming when you want
Disadvantages: takes longer to clip than later models
...simpler<
-The birth of Babyliss >introduction-
Babyliss is a unisex grooming company that has groomed the UK for over 40 years. Babyliss was established in 1960 originally in Paris; and enjoyed the 'swinging sixties' immensely. The growth originally was slow but quickened up as the 'new sexual revolution' took hold of Western culture. During this time, vanity was in the air and so was new hair design concepts; big style influences were used in ... ...forward, and so it was Babyliss who was the brand people flocked to especially in Paris; before the company went global during the 1980's many brands came and went and wanted to be the next Babyliss. The versatile nature of Babyliss extended product ranges regulary and were always known as the pioneers of hair products.
