Cutting the mustard?
Review of Nclarke NCM14 Xtreme by smithy80

Advantages: Robust, Rechargable, Waterproof
Disadvantages: After sales service

When my old Remington clippers went walkies, I decided to do my research properly and found that the Nicky Clarke NCM14 had been awarded "best buy" status by the Which guide. I thought I couldn't really go wrong there, so I happily skipped of to my local Comet's to buy them for £24.99. (This is about 6 months ago, and now they are a lot cheaper - Amazon sells them for £13.33, and with something else on the order to take it over the £15 mark, you ...
...have given these clippers top marks, but the appalling customer service provided by both the retailer and manufacturer has let them down. To be fair I will list all the positive bits first though, and come back to the negative things later. First impressions were very good; the clippers have a sturdy feel to them, not weighty enough to turn a haircut into hard work, but heavy enough to convince you of their quality. The outside material is rubber, ... Read review

worth the money
Review of Nclarke NCMH by leasa1

Advantages: can do it urself, saves money and time
Disadvantages: u may need help, need to hoover afterwards

these are really good, i bought these two years ago for my boyfriend, they tuck away nicely in the drawer, and they come in a nice wee zip up case u can store all the bits in. They have never let me down and i use them about once a week, i have never needed to sharpen yet, so they have paid for themself. must have saved about £200 over the two years, only problem is i have to do the cutting, but if u just want the same level right over then really ... A cut above the rest
Review of Nclarke NCM10 by mado21

Advantages: light weight, very sharp, no more going to the barbers.
Disadvantages: none that i have found

My 2 sons and husband where always going to the barbers for their hair shaved, having to wait about, sometimes for an hour before they even sat in the barbers chair, then there was the added expense, so i thought i would go out, buy the clippers and have a go at cutting their hair myself, bearing in mind i couldn't cut a piece of paper straight never mind hair so i was a bit sceptical. Any way i come across the Nicky Clarke electric extreme hair ...

This is the best Hair Clipper on the Market!!
Review of Remington SCC100 by willis1977

Advantages: The professional looking hair cut you get
Disadvantages: none

...when I first used the Remington SCC100 - put simply, it is brilliant!! The finish you get looks like (cliche alert!) you've just stepped out of the hairdressers. Its uncanny how it looks exactly the same as if you'd got it done professionally. The device itself is very easy to use, and fits well in the hand. Its curved design ensures that the cut is level, and you can choose from 5 different settings; 1 being the shortest which just happens to be ...
...go away, but with the Remington SCC100 you can really see what you've cut, which wasn't always the case with my previous clippers. I am truly staggered by its capability - hence why Im writing this review not more than 1 hour from when I first used it! Perhaps when Im brave enough I'll try the clippers without the guard to see if you can get an even shorter cut. So, if you're in any doubt about buying the Remington SCC100, let me assure you that ... Read review

Review of Babyliss 7052 CSU by 1st2thebar

...of us have heard of Babyliss products, especially if your over 35 years of age. They were established in the early 1960's in Paris and quickly embarked on the fashion and style scene; it was the time for change and 'new beginnings' in the iconic and fashion sense. When the sixties got swinging so did Babyliss. Everyone was into vanity, their own vanity and with that comes fashion accessories, within product ranges and importantly corporate branding. ...
