Remington HC365 Advantages: Rechargeable, ease of use, no need of oil for blades Disadvantages: inability of main clipper to trim, trimmer doesn't do good at trimming Since I got this clipper i haven't had cause to go for repair. So for one, its durable but depending on how careful you are though. The best attribute would be that I won't need to draw Voltage from my kitchen to my bathroom just to shave-its rechargeble! I am still trying to figure out how many hours it can go before going off. Its con would be the fact that the trimmer included isn't rechargeable as the main clipper. This is the best Hair Clipper on the Market!! Advantages: The professional looking hair cut you get Disadvantages: none ...when I first used the Remington SCC100 - put simply, it is brilliant!! The finish you get looks like (cliche alert!) you've just stepped out of the hairdressers. Its uncanny how it looks exactly the same as if you'd got it done professionally. The device itself is very easy to use, and fits well in the hand. Its curved design ensures that the cut is level, and you can choose from 5 different settings; 1 being the shortest which just happens to be ... ...go away, but with the Remington SCC100 you can really see what you've cut, which wasn't always the case with my previous clippers. I am truly staggered by its capability - hence why Im writing this review not more than 1 hour from when I first used it! Perhaps when Im brave enough I'll try the clippers without the guard to see if you can get an even shorter cut. DIY Haircut: Saving a Few Bob Advantages: Can't make mistakes if you follow instructions. Saves money, good build quality Disadvantages: None that I have found ...but a penny for the Remington HC710, I worked out that I would get my money back after about 7 or 8 uses. There were other models, but the Remington looked the best quality on examination, and after all, Remington did seem to have a long history of manufacturing in shaving and hair care products. She opened one of the boxes and showed me that there were 8 guiding combs that I could attach. There were two slanting combs, one slanting right and one ... ...series of straight combs marked, 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm 15mm, 18mm. These guide combs fitted over the cutting blade, and would cut your hair to that length as you ran the clippers through the hair. She told me that if I run the machine through my hair slowly with the longest (18mm) comb attached first against the growth direction, I would see that it would cut it perfectly. Who's that handsome devil with a missing ear! Advantages: cordless, cheap, stylish and compact Disadvantages: not waterproof ...there). I chose the Remington Titanium HC600 hair clippers sounds more like a bike than a small hair appliance but that's the power of marketing for you. I chose these clippers over the others on offer for primarily two reasons firstly they are rechargeable and secondly they did not have a daft shortening lever on the side to make the cutter you use 2mm shorter or longer.
