Ok firstly I have to say that I am in my late 30's and I started using JFM about a 18 months ago when my grey hairs started to become that little bit too 'obvious'. Hope they might help you too! 1) Before applying JFM use some vaseline (petroleum jelly) around your hair-line and your ears. I find these some of the best dyes around for unnatural colours, they are very long lasting - although you do lose colour with every wash, they still give a vibrant result in my pre lightened hair. This is one of my favorite hair dyes. At only £4.59 a box it is a mid priced dye but it works well. You use this dye just like a normal hair dye, mix your bottle and tube then apply begining at the roots and working your way to the tips of your hair. I have used Grecian 2000 for about 15 years. I now use the foam. I find I need more that "3" golf balls of foam, and I make sure it is well absorbed to the roots. Regarding what was written on a previous review that it takes so long on first application and that one cannot wash one's hair all that time...
