FUDGE PaintBox
Advantages: Long lasting, no stained pillows! Disadvantages: None I can think of...
...of mine!
The colours of Fudge paintbox that i have used are Blue Velvet and Red Corvette.
I find these some of the best dyes around for unnatural colours, they are very long lasting - although you do lose colour with every wash, they still give a vibrant result in my pre lightened hair.
Also, the colour does NOT rub off onto pillows or clothes which is a problem I have come across with other products.
Very simple to use, no mixing required. I ... ...colour though, especially if you are trying to dye a specific section of hair only. The instructions recommend that you use gloves but I have found that it it actually fairly easy to remove from the skin if you have no gloves. (I find that it is gone after I have showered to remove the dye)
One word of warning though, does stain fabric!! An old towel is ESSENTIAL! ...

Fudge up your hair!
Advantages: Easy to use, great results, does what it says on the tin! Disadvantages: Expensive...
As a student with not much to do all day (lectures? classes? what are they?) and no job to worry about, I spend a lot of my time doing wild things to my hair in order to freak out my parents, and make them wonder what exactly a degree at university is actually about...
Thats basically how I came to use this product. When I first realised that no-one could stop me doing whatever I wanted to my hair, I still had some qualms about using permenant colour ... ...semi-permanent colourings.
The problem I have with semi-permenants is that I have very, very dark brown hair, and when I dye it, the colour tends to come out completely the opposite to the way I was expecting it (some problem with a blonde ended up with me walking around with a green top to my head for a week), and it fades so quickly, that I start to feel that I have wasted my money - sometimes semi-permenants are more expensive than permenants.

Scary - but did the job.
Advantages: Does actually remove a build up of colour - even dark brown Disadvantages: The bright orange is scary - be prepared for it
I used this product to lighten my "years of dyed dark brown" hair.
I followed the instructions and used 2 sachets of the bleach, as it develped I watched the colour going from dark brown to a bright orange.
Even though I was panicing, I left the product on for one hour in total, the maximum time allowed.
When I washed it off it was a little dry but there was no noticable hair loss during rinsing.
The resulting colour was a seriously bright orange!
... ...colours from Wella's Color Touch professional range, which I have accumulated over the past year or so, due to my addiction to dying my hair!
I opted for a light brown 'cool' toned colour, thinking that it would counteract the red tones.
The result was a medium brown colour all over which I am pleased with as it is several shades lighter tham my usual dark brown. ...

A rainbow for your hair!
Advantages: Really bright colour, stands out Disadvantages: Doesnt last long if there is products on your hair when you dye it
I fancied a change to my hair.. I had just finished secondary school, where the rules where pretty harsh.. No extreme hair colours, so i had been stuck with blonde. I get told i have naturally highlighted hair but i fancied something a bit more extreme, one reason was to look different, and another reason.. to show the school no longer had control!
I had read some reviews on this product before i bought this semi permanent hair dye, and thought ... ...that was going to stay in too long, but something that wasnt going to wash out to a really pale colour in one wash.
* Basically, Stargazer is wide brand. They sell semi permanent hair dye, makeup, nail varnishes and other things.
* Theres a variety of colours of this hair dye, from electric green to violet. I have blonde hair and didnt know whether to buy the rouge, or blue.. so I took advise and went for Rouge and was expecting it to come out ...

L'Oreal Couleur Experte - I'd use it again!
Advantages: First part was easy to do with good results Disadvantages: Not easy to do decent streaks on your own
I'm getting on a bit now & my hair would no doubt be grey if I left it alone (perish the thought!!) I started colouring it in the 60's when I was a teenage mod. Over the years, I've used allsorts - usually things I find on special offer. I had a short spell when I could afford to go to the hairdressers and paid anything up to £70 for colours. Now I'm on the pension however, times are tight so I was really pleased when yesterday, I found a box of ... ...was also a box of Garnier multi-lights and I got both for £1 - Well I've just used the Couleur Experte (Rum Coffee) and I'm SO pleased with the results.
Unfortunately, I don't look like the girl on the box and I wish I'd left the highlight cream on longer (I chickened out after reading all your revues) I'd certainly save up for another kit but I think I'd put my plastic cap on & pull strands through when I do the streaks next time. It's too hard ...
