Nice natural colours, easy to use, and great for first timers!

Advantages: Natural range of colours, easy to apply, good for those not sure of dying
Disadvantages: Richness fades quite fast, smells quite sweet til you wash it 2nd time :P

l'oreal paris recital preference ultra-lightening natural brown

Advantages: not too damaging, lots of conditioner
Disadvantages: orange hair, strong smell eyes streaming, doesnt work.

it does work well WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR TIME!! please read.

Advantages: multi tones give a natural look, far better than a one all over colour which can look dull
Disadvantages: a bit time consuming

i have tried a couple of the couleur experte dyes.including the macaroon. and when you take your time,the result can be very natural and nice. i will be re dying my hair on monday (todays saturday). this will give my hair enough time for the natural oils to come through and protect my hair, and most importantly my scalp. i think the trick is definately to test it on a strand first,to check how long you need to leave it on for,and what colour you ...
...we all know that the colour on the box can drastically varie from person to person.so why take the risk of just piling it onto your whole head before knowing the end result???? take your time and do the test strands!!!!!!!! when you do the highlights, dont go over the top, you just want to select a few strands around the front top part of the head. and very fine. go online to watch tips on how to highlight hair at home.i found them very helpful.less ...

I'm blond again

Advantages: Easy, safe enough :))
Disadvantages: none

I have naturally dark blonde hair, but decided to colour with 5.5 Loreal excellence colour. After about 2 years I decided to go natural again.Then I used once Garnier pre lightener - that was awful :(( So I coloured my orange hair brown. again... But around month ago I wanted to go natural color and bought Loreal pre lightener as I colour with Loreal... I was quite scared about aftermath of lightening my hair as I had very bad experience.
