I love Country Colors! Advantages: Lovely smell, great feeling of the hair afterwards, doesn't drip... etc. Disadvantages: None! I love Country Colors! I have been dying my hair red for about 7 years, and let's say I've used CC 80% of the times! I doesn't smell bad (it actually smells wonderful!), and when you have it in your hair, it doesn't drip at all, and the conditioner afterwards - wow! I wish I could buy a whole bottle of that magic, my hair is silk. Pure silk. And it stays like it for like 4 days! It covers up those dark roots easily, and doesn't rinse out after a ... Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL Cyber Purple couldnt live without it!! Advantages: long lasting, easy to apply, makes me smile Disadvantages: clen bath or shower immediatly after rinsing The only DIY colourant that is a funky enough colour for me and clings to my uncontrollable locks. It only takes about 15 minutes for me to apply on my own, two packets, as I have thick curly hair reaching halfway down my back. I have found the colour does not run everywhere after applications so I can continue with housework whilst it is developing and not leave purple spots everywhere. Any staining around the forehead or ears is easily removed ... ...developed. The resulting colour is always vibrant and shiny only out done by my grin as my hair is returned to its true spiritual colour. Schwarzkopf Live colour great DIY product Advantages: Large varity of colours, good price, lasts quite well with minimum fading Disadvantages: stains skin if your not careful ...is bitter chocolate in the Schwarzkopf Live range, I decided to go blonde again and stripped the colour out of my hair and then coloured it with the platinum live colour I HATED IT so I bought the bitter chocolate colour to cover over it and iit's worked just great. I haven't expeirenced any colour fading what so ever, and it's left my hair in superurb condition!! I am sure that all the LIVE colours are permanant but to be honest I haven't had ... ...a simialr shade, I have also tried the red shade and it was brilliant but that did fade quite quickly as I expected it would, depending on the colours they usually last pretty well and they don't really dry your hair our, mine is really glossy!! My brother uses the platinum blonde everytime he dyes his hair and his hair is in really good condition too. Schwarzkopf Live Wild Lights Advantages: Great on light hair Disadvantages: Not so great on really dark hair ...are a demi-permentant colour, the Schwarzkopf Live Wild Lights, claim to be permanent. A much better option for me, as the demi-perms were fading too quickly. I intended to colour the pre-lightened areas purple, and include some fresh streaks of purple too. The procedure of mixing the colours was very easy. It took about 3 or 4 minutes to prepare. The procedure of application was again easy (it helps to partition the hair with plastic clips and ... ...you don't want to put it!). I allowed 35 minutes for the pre-coloured areas. I allowed 40 minutes for the areas on my natural hair colour (dark brown). The end result wasn't really a bright purple, however more of a red-purple.. it is a nice colour, but not if you are expecting bright purple results. It is a subtle look (compared to the red I had in before), but you can make it less subtle by the designs you use and the way you style your hair. ... No Fuss, No Mess, Just Colour Advantages: Quick and simple Disadvantages: No major drawbacks ...and ended up buying a Schwarzkopf Poly colour tint, they were all on offer at £1.99p. I wasn't too worried about applying it either, knowing that it washes out is a big comfort. My beauty routine is a bit slap dash to say the least and I always seem to pick ridiculous times to try anything new.
