Philips HP 4891 Salon PRO 2100
Review of Philips HP 4891 Salon PRO 2100 by
tiff7898
Advantages: Excellent for different hair types as it has 3 different speed and heat settings!
Disadvantages: None so far
Excellant hair dryer, the rubber grip on handle is a great idea, makes it easier to keep hold of. The main advantages are that it has 3 different heat settings (cool, warm and hot) and 3 speed settings, its incredibly versatile for styling or just quick drying, i find it drys my hair extremely quickly when in a rush without my hair feeling dry or brittle.
It comes with a concentrator nozle which is excellent for styling, really easy to use with ... ...It is really rather quite light compared to many hair dryers which makes it suitable for styling as it tend s to take longer, its even more suitable with the lower heat setting, it makes me feel a bit more confident im not going to damage my hair. It also has a cold air button, which turns the air cold as you guess to set a style and give your hair shine.
It is an ionic hairdryer, theres a switch on the handle which means you can turn it on or off. ...

Whatever Ionic means - it's good!
Review of Remington D 4410 Protect&shine Compact Ionic by
sianciao
Advantages: Fast drying, shine and volume
Disadvantages: No 'bits and pieces' just the dryer
...to the counter.
The Remington D 4410 looked a bit pathetic in it's lonely box. Half the size of the many of the other dryers and without any accompaniments I was a little disappointed. For the weeks following Christmas I ignored my D4410 and continued to use my mum's slightly heftier blow drier, until I returned to University, about 2 weeks later.
The first time I used the hair dryer my mind was immediately changed. It is simple to use with 2 speed ... ...There is also a cold blast button, good for when you burn your ears. Although slightly boring looking in grey and silver, the dryer is stylish and despite not being in the shape of a duck, I learned to love the D4410 very quickly, and here's why:
- There is no doubt that the D4410 brings a healthy shine to my hair that I have never managed before. Often my hair looks limp and in pain, however, using the D4410 even I have managed to bring a look ...

Vidal Sassoon: a mans view
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS 536 BD by
GRIPP3D
Advantages: 3 temps and cool jet, lightweight, cheap, isn't noisy
Disadvantages: it's 20 quid that could be spent down the pub
...purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer.
At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures ... ...away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly with its silver finish and as much as I plead that it is mine, all mine, the better half of my relationship insists that it is good enough to share. What is yours is mine and what is mine is my own eh guys?
Styled in a rather thick heat resistant plastic, the grip and handle are balanced perfectly with the trigger and heat setting ...

Toni and Guy Tourmaline Hairdryer
Review of Toni And Guy TG5116UK by
altin
Advantages: very fast drying
Disadvantages: rather heavy
I bought this to replace my Boots Ionic hair dryer which gave good results and shiney hair
This new tourmaline technology is even better, it combines ionic and infa red to give really fast results and beautiful film star shiney hair
This dryer is very stylish with 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings, it also has a genuine cool shot button to set curls etc
This is definately the best hair dryer I have ever owned and Iv bought loads, I usualy buy ... ...not one to fuss too much and like to dry and style as quickly as possible
With the diffuser removed hair can be rough dried in just a few minutes, using the narrow flow difuser and a vent brush to style creates super silky and fabulous glossy hair
The only down side is that it is a rather heavy hairdryer, but as it is not nessesary to spend ages using it, I would say this is a very minor issue
I would reccomemend this hair dryer to anyone who ...

Dry your hair while watching the pennies
Review of Babyliss 5196 AIR Extreme by
looselegslou
Advantages: dries hair quickly, easy to grip, 3 heat settings, cool air trigger
Disadvantages: no diffuser
...new one. I bought the Babyliss model above from Amazon for £19.99. They caught my eye because not only are they lightweight with an easy to grip handle, it also has 3 heat settings which were similar to my previous hairdryer which meant it would work brilliant with my hair straighteners.
As well as 2 hot settings there is a cool air trigger which is an added bonus for dealing witht he static caused by the heat. One blast of the cool air deals witht ... ...the day. The heat settings work really well for me as I like to dry my hair completely before using straighteners. My hair is really fine but I have lots of it so usually I have to seprate it into sections to dry it. Not with this hairdryer. The force of the air that is fired out dries my hair quicker than any other dryer I have ever used at home, or been used on me at the hairdressers.
The only problem is that there is no diffuser with the dryer ...
