I first started using Parlux about 10 years ago when my mum introduced me to it, it used to only be available in specialist beauty supply shops but now it's available on the internet. The Parlux models are also widely used in hairdressing salons which shows just how effective the results are. Using this brand you really can achieve that just stepped out of the salon look! They are super powerful - the parlux 3200 is 1900 watts. There are two speeds ... ...so glad to have my Parlux back! I have never seen such a nozzle on a hairdryer on the high street even in so called professional models, thats what makes the Parlux range so unique. Before I discovered Parlux, I would either spend a fortune on different products in the hope of recreating a hairdressers look, or give up and go to the hairdressers!! Now thankfully for my wallet, no need!! I also find I no longer need to use hair straighteners which ...

Advantages: Quick. Natural finish. Disadvantages: Difficult to use. Does not achieve poker straight results.
I have long, thick wavy hair which I usually straighten every day. Drying and straightening is very time consuming and I often end up just tying my hair back to avoid all of the hassle. This seemed like the perfect solution to dry and straighten my hair quickly. The results were satisfactory though not amazing, my hair was not as straight or sleek as if it had been straightened. I had to flick the ends under slightly as it would not make my hair ... ...natural look that you are going for then this would be great for you. I towel dries my hair first before a rough dry without the nozzle, this speeded up the process. It was definately quicker than drying and straigtening and is suitable for those who feel that they have too much hair. However, my sister, whose hair is more frizzy than mine found it difficult to use. She felt that the air was blowing in all different directions making her hair frizzier ...
Advantages: Light-weight, fantstic results, reasonable price Disadvantages: Not much quieter than a normal standard hair-dryer
...My hair straighteners are by Remington and they are a well known brand, especially for electrical/beauty items. I saw this in the boots catalogue priced at £19.99 which I thought was very reasonable. The hair-dryer, was not only a reasonable price, but also quite small and lightweight. It was also known as an Ionic dryer, which I know gives better results when blow-drying. It also has a cool shot, which I find is important to set your hair-style. ... ...way before you did!
Remington is a well-known brand which is why I went for this make. There are other brands out there which sell Ionic hair-dryers, but I would recommend this one 100%.
