Babyliss BEliss is almost perfect bliss
Advantages: Light weight, quick dry, straightens hair Disadvantages: Not 100% straight,
The Babyliss BEliss 2x hairdryer is the next generation of the Babyliss hairdryers that have straightening 'teeth' as an attatchment in order to straighten you hair while it dries. To be clear 'straight' is a relative term. I have had conversations with girls with naturally poker straight hair who were complaining that they wanted to straighten it more. Sat next to them with a head of frizz I couldnt help but find this annoying. And to put into context ... ...or curly, but somewhere annoyingly inbetween. Its also quite thick and I have slight layers cut in and a shaping around my face to 'take the weight out of it' as the hairdresser puts it. I do believe this technical jargon is what i pay for rather than the cut, but hey... These shorter bits often curl or frizz after i dry my hair, and even if it starts out looking ok as soon as ive gone outside its a mess again. I honestly didnt know what to think ...

Babyliss get it right
Advantages: Helps fight frizz, easy to use, drys quickly Disadvantages: won't rid your hair of frizziness
I've owned my Babyliss hairdryer for a couple of years now, and the hairdryer I owned previously was also Babyliss, so I am really pleased with this brand of hairdryer asI have found them to not only work effectively, but last a long time.
My hair is very thick and also long (to the middle of my back), so it takes a long time to dry it (usually when I visit a salon, two hairdressers dry it, it takes that long). I have found that this hairdryer drys ... ...thnk this is partly to do with the concentrator nozzle at the end (which is also great for styling!) as this concentrates the heat in one area at a time. There are also six heat settings, so you can choose one to suit your needs - there is also a cold setting, which is great for setting styles.
Now, the difference with this hairdyer is the advertised 'Pro Ionic Conditioning'. This works by releasing 'dual stream' of conditioning ions from the vents ...

The Babyliss Elegance 5560BU Dryer is a fairly large salon style dryer. I would give the Babyliss Elegance Dryer 4 out of 5 as I have no complaints with its performance at all.
Available in Tesco, Boots, Argos etc. for around £25.

Remington Professional Ionic 2000w hair dryer = must have!!!
Advantages: Long lead, ionic, 2 heat and speed settings. Disadvantages: bit big! (but light to hold) attachments are similar size and shape!
Bought the Remington Professional Ionic 2000w hair dryer a few weeks ago after my hair dryer broke and i love it already!!!
i have very fine hair and am sooo pleased that this hair dryer (because of the ionic) does not cause my hair to frizz up or go static, which other hair dryers have done in the past!
It comes with two attatchements (as you can see in the picture) but they are very similar shapes and sizes so i always use the same one!
the ... ...and for when the plug is on other wall to the mirror!!!
there are two heat and two speed settings (although there is a warning on the attachments about using the full heat and full speed together - don't know why!). the buttons are on the inside of the handle, which is handy. and the buttons are easy to press! there is also a COOL button, which i have to admit i hardly use. ...

Have people envy your smooth and frizz-free hair!
Advantages: A lovely design with some great benefits, and leaves hair looking shiny and frizz-free. Disadvantages: Probably the inclusion of the rollers/clips which are not really needed for me personally.
...I'm glad I found the Remington Hair Envy Volume & Curl dryer as it's been brilliant. The Remington D2035 Envy This hair dryer is a 2000W dryer and isn't as noisy as other dryers. It boasts a ceramic ring and ionic conditioning (popular in modern hair dryers!) which helps reduce frizz and give hair a nicer shine. It has 3 heat and 2 speed switching settings which are very easy to use, and include a cool shot which you press and hld to give a ... ...The rear grille of the dryer is removeable and this makes it easier to clean, all you have to do is turn it anti-clockwise to remove, and then turn it clock wise it secure it back on again, thus making sure the grille doesn't get clogged up with dust and hair. The dryer comes with 2 attachments, a concentrator and diffuser, one you will recognise as it comes with the majority of dryers however the other one I have never seen on a dryer before, and ...
