Dry your hair while watching the pennies
Review of Babyliss 5196 AIR Extreme by looselegslou

Advantages: dries hair quickly, easy to grip, 3 heat settings, cool air trigger
Disadvantages: no diffuser

...new one. I bought the Babyliss model above from Amazon for £19.99. They caught my eye because not only are they lightweight with an easy to grip handle, it also has 3 heat settings which were similar to my previous hairdryer which meant it would work brilliant with my hair straighteners. As well as 2 hot settings there is a cool air trigger which is an added bonus for dealing witht he static caused by the heat. One blast of the cool air deals witht ...
...the day. The heat settings work really well for me as I like to dry my hair completely before using straighteners. My hair is really fine but I have lots of it so usually I have to seprate it into sections to dry it. Not with this hairdryer. The force of the air that is fired out dries my hair quicker than any other dryer I have ever used at home, or been used on me at the hairdressers. The only problem is that there is no diffuser with the dryer ... Read review

Not belissfully straight
Review of Babyliss 5710 E Beliss by chcouper

Advantages: Quiet operation, durability
Disadvantages: Doesn't straighten

...forked out £29.99 for a Babyliss Beliss hairdryer. At £29.99 this hairdryer is at the upper end of the market but I figured that as it was a straightener as well as a hairdryer it was actually quite good value. The hairdryer is purple in colour and comes with two attachments - one for blow drying and one for straightening. It is about the same size as a normal hairdryer and looks quite modern and stylish. My tactic was to rough dry my hair using ...
...The hairdryer itself is not as powerful as other hairdryers that I have had in the past and my hair took longer to dry than I was expecting. However, the hairdryer does operate very quietly which is a bonus. There are two settings - slow and fast. I've never really given the slow setting a go because I had already found that the fast one wasn't that powerful. After rough drying my hair then I switched to the straightening attachment. This is a difficult ... Read review

My experience
Review of Babyliss 5710 E Beliss by bublums6

Advantages: less damaging than straightners, reliable bramd
Disadvantages: doesn't work on all hair types, hard to get used to

I bought this dryer because it promised to be an ultimate solution to all my problems - detangle, dry straighten and make them shine - all in one go! Moreover, it promised to be less damaging than hair straighteners. My experience was quite good. I have very thick hair and all I had to do was wash my hair and get to work with the 3 in 1 dryer. There are 4 settings depending on the thickness of your hair with 1 as less thick and 4 as most thick and ...
...it gave my hair true salon results. With my mum, who has much more thicker hair, it didn't work out to well as mine but her hair were somewhat more straight than natural but certainly not saloon looking. It is hard to get used to it but with practice, it will not be that bad! ... Read review

Smoooooth it out
Review of Babyliss 5385 by leadboiler

Advantages: Stops static hair
Disadvantages: Not very powerful

...certainly recommend it. We've had babyliss hairdryers for years now and this is the best of the lot. It does exactly what it's supposed to and it comes with a free brush. *Appearance* ------------------- - I've seen better looking hairdryers, the colours are quite nice but the shape is a little bland. There's a large jet for the hot air and a small pipe shaped jet for the ions... which, by the way you can't feel if you put your hand ...
...* * *Features* ---------------- -1800W -2 heat/speed settings plus a round shaped cool shot button -Ionic switch to switch on ions, lights up green when it is on -Concentrator nozzle, removable -Thermal straightening brush, a nice black and blue metallic one. Lovely -2 year manufacturer's guarantee, we've had no problems with ours yet though. My rating- * * * * * *How good does it work?* ------------------------------------- ... Read review

One more thing to go in my bag!
Review of Babyliss 5345 by jo145

Advantages: Folding Handle, Powerful but small
Disadvantages: A bit less space for clothes!

Wonderful, marvellous! Most hotels now have hairdryers as standard in their rooms. But why are they always in the bathroom? If there is more than one person needing to use the bathroom, then it is not always convenient to have someone drying their hair. Even if they don't mind you invading their space, the mirror always steams up! Often they are a low wattage and it takes ages to dry your hair with the results not as good as at home. I don't need ...
...if you have been swimming in the sea or a pool then wash your hair you must before donning the glad rags and going out to wine and dine. Time is at a premium, you need to find the answer to this problem. Solution! Buy a travel hairdryer. The Babybliss Whisperjet fits the bill , but doesn't leave your credit card crying. Cost a mere £14.69 from Argos and that also includes a black Euro travel adaptor, which would cost you about £3+ if bought separately. ... Read review
