Ionic technology - believe it or not?

Advantages: Good range of heat settings. Cold shot. ?Ionic technology. Long lead.
Disadvantages: Large and heavy to use. A bit noisy.

I was deeply sceptical about the "ionic technology". The idea is that static electricity (which can make hair bush out) is not built up by this drier so your hair lies smoother on your head. Whatever the drier emits when the blue button is pressed, I do think that it (or something) makes my hair less flyaway. You can switch it off if you like. There are 3 heat levels and 3 fan speeds.The "cold shot" is useful for helping to set a style before venturing ...

Unfortunately the dryer is a lot larger and heavier than my old Braun, which doesn't have a direct replacement, so it's less comfortable to use and takes up more storage space. Mark Hill style and shine power hair dryer

Advantages: Quick drying, reduces frizz and great design.
Disadvantages: Heavy to use, one nozzle doesn't stay on.
