The Silver Space gun Hair Dryer :) Advantages: unique shape, not very noisey and doesn't burn my head Disadvantages: quite expensive, takes a while to dry hair The Morphy Richards 21024 model hair dryer is a bizarrely shaped little piece of equipment. made from hard silvery and dark grey plastic it's got a long black wire which is about 3 meters long, more than enough to reach the top of your head when stood. Obviously this depnds how high you stand, if your only little like me at 5ft 5 then you'd find you have a bit of slack on the wire so you can ruffle and puff you're hair whilst styling and drying. ... ...Style: The sleek and stylish space age design of this product means I can use it to style my locks, or when switched off, makes a cool weapon and accessory for a fancy dress outfit. Ionic technology - believe it or not? Advantages: Good range of heat settings. Cold shot. ?Ionic technology. Long lead. Disadvantages: Large and heavy to use. A bit noisy. I was deeply sceptical about the "ionic technology". The idea is that static electricity (which can make hair bush out) is not built up by this drier so your hair lies smoother on your head. Whatever the drier emits when the blue button is pressed, I do think that it (or something) makes my hair less flyaway. You can switch it off if you like. There are 3 heat levels and 3 fan speeds.The "cold shot" is useful for helping to set a style before venturing ... ...and dries hair quickly but inevitably, given its power, is a bit noisy. The long lead makes it relatively easy to look in a mirror when drying hair. Unfortunately the dryer is a lot larger and heavier than my old Braun, which doesn't have a direct replacement, so it's less comfortable to use and takes up more storage space. For travel I prefer something smaller, lighter and quieter. However as a home drier I would recommend it. ... Does it well Advantages: Super tool Disadvantages: Huge Decided to hunt for a new dryer when mine starting making sounds like it was going to fire a piece of metal at me and so the hunt began... Smoooooth it out Advantages: Stops static hair Disadvantages: Not very powerful ...certainly recommend it. We've had babyliss hairdryers for years now and this is the best of the lot. It does exactly what it's supposed to and it comes with a free brush. Appearance ------------------- - I've seen better looking hairdryers, the colours are quite nice but the shape is a little bland.
