Advantages: Salon look is easy to acheive, really professional results Disadvantages: none
I first started using Parlux about 10 years ago when my mum introduced me to it, it used to only be available in specialist beauty supply shops but now it's available on the internet. The Parlux models are also widely used in hairdressing salons which shows just how effective the results are. Using this brand you really can achieve that just stepped out of the salon look! They are super powerful - the parlux 3200 is 1900 watts. There are two speeds ... ...so glad to have my Parlux back! I have never seen such a nozzle on a hairdryer on the high street even in so called professional models, thats what makes the Parlux range so unique. Before I discovered Parlux, I would either spend a fortune on different products in the hope of recreating a hairdressers look, or give up and go to the hairdressers!! Now thankfully for my wallet, no need!! I also find I no longer need to use hair straighteners which ...
The Babyliss BEliss 2x hairdryer is the next generation of the Babyliss hairdryers that have straightening 'teeth' as an attatchment in order to straighten you hair while it dries. To be clear 'straight' is a relative term. I have had conversations with girls with naturally poker straight hair who were complaining that they wanted to straighten it more. Sat next to them with a head of frizz I couldnt help but find this annoying. And to put into context ... ...or curly, but somewhere annoyingly inbetween. Its also quite thick and I have slight layers cut in and a shaping around my face to 'take the weight out of it' as the hairdresser puts it. I do believe this technical jargon is what i pay for rather than the cut, but hey... These shorter bits often curl or frizz after i dry my hair, and even if it starts out looking ok as soon as ive gone outside its a mess again. I honestly didnt know what to think ...
Advantages: Quick Easy and mega shiny hair! Disadvantages: no cool shot button
I got this hairdryer as a christmas present and at first was dubious at what it could do for my long thick hair which is neither straight nor curly, it claimed that due to the silk protein capsules the heat was actually good for your hair! I was used to spending a long time drying and then straightening my hair to tame it so when I used this hairdryer for the first time I was stunned at the results. The capsules are easy to use and last up to 30 ... ...dry naturally for a bit and so do not use it for 30 minutes at once but have found that if the capsule is put back in its wrapper it is effective for a second use. The hairdryer comes with 2 nozzles, one for normal and one to hold a capsule, and a pack of 4 capsules. It has 3 heat settings and 2 speeds with a turbo button (although it is advised in instructions not to use this with capsules) With the hairdryer selling at about £35 and a pack of six ...
Advantages: Long lead, ionic, 2 heat and speed settings. Disadvantages: bit big! (but light to hold) attachments are similar size and shape!
Bought the Remington Professional Ionic 2000w hair dryer a few weeks ago after my hair dryer broke and i love it already!!!
i have very fine hair and am sooo pleased that this hair dryer (because of the ionic) does not cause my hair to frizz up or go static, which other hair dryers have done in the past!
It comes with two attatchements (as you can see in the picture) but they are very similar shapes and sizes so i always use the same one!
the ... ...and for when the plug is on other wall to the mirror!!!
there are two heat and two speed settings (although there is a warning on the attachments about using the full heat and full speed together - don't know why!). the buttons are on the inside of the handle, which is handy. and the buttons are easy to press! there is also a COOL button, which i have to admit i hardly use. ...
