Parlux 3200 compact hairdryer - the best no contest!
Advantages: Salon look is easy to acheive, really professional results Disadvantages: none
I first started using Parlux about 10 years ago when my mum introduced me to it, it used to only be available in specialist beauty supply shops but now it's available on the internet. The Parlux models are also widely used in hairdressing salons which shows just how effective the results are. Using this brand you really can achieve that just stepped out of the salon look! They are super powerful - the parlux 3200 is 1900 watts. There are two speeds ... ...so glad to have my Parlux back! I have never seen such a nozzle on a hairdryer on the high street even in so called professional models, thats what makes the Parlux range so unique. Before I discovered Parlux, I would either spend a fortune on different products in the hope of recreating a hairdressers look, or give up and go to the hairdressers!! Now thankfully for my wallet, no need!! I also find I no longer need to use hair straighteners which ...

Babyliss BEliss is almost perfect bliss
Advantages: Light weight, quick dry, straightens hair Disadvantages: Not 100% straight,
The Babyliss BEliss 2x hairdryer is the next generation of the Babyliss hairdryers that have straightening 'teeth' as an attatchment in order to straighten you hair while it dries. To be clear 'straight' is a relative term. I have had conversations with girls with naturally poker straight hair who were complaining that they wanted to straighten it more. Sat next to them with a head of frizz I couldnt help but find this annoying. And to put into context ... ...or curly, but somewhere annoyingly inbetween. Its also quite thick and I have slight layers cut in and a shaping around my face to 'take the weight out of it' as the hairdresser puts it. I do believe this technical jargon is what i pay for rather than the cut, but hey... These shorter bits often curl or frizz after i dry my hair, and even if it starts out looking ok as soon as ive gone outside its a mess again. I honestly didnt know what to think ...

Have people envy your smooth and frizz-free hair!
Advantages: A lovely design with some great benefits, and leaves hair looking shiny and frizz-free. Disadvantages: Probably the inclusion of the rollers/clips which are not really needed for me personally.
...I'm glad I found the Remington Hair Envy Volume & Curl dryer as it's been brilliant. The Remington D2035 Envy This hair dryer is a 2000W dryer and isn't as noisy as other dryers. It boasts a ceramic ring and ionic conditioning (popular in modern hair dryers!) which helps reduce frizz and give hair a nicer shine. It has 3 heat and 2 speed switching settings which are very easy to use, and include a cool shot which you press and hld to give a ... ...The rear grille of the dryer is removeable and this makes it easier to clean, all you have to do is turn it anti-clockwise to remove, and then turn it clock wise it secure it back on again, thus making sure the grille doesn't get clogged up with dust and hair. The dryer comes with 2 attachments, a concentrator and diffuser, one you will recognise as it comes with the majority of dryers however the other one I have never seen on a dryer before, and ...

Super shiny with no need to straighten
Advantages: Quick Easy and mega shiny hair! Disadvantages: no cool shot button
I got this hairdryer as a christmas present and at first was dubious at what it could do for my long thick hair which is neither straight nor curly, it claimed that due to the silk protein capsules the heat was actually good for your hair! I was used to spending a long time drying and then straightening my hair to tame it so when I used this hairdryer for the first time I was stunned at the results. The capsules are easy to use and last up to 30 ... ...dry naturally for a bit and so do not use it for 30 minutes at once but have found that if the capsule is put back in its wrapper it is effective for a second use. The hairdryer comes with 2 nozzles, one for normal and one to hold a capsule, and a pack of 4 capsules. It has 3 heat settings and 2 speeds with a turbo button (although it is advised in instructions not to use this with capsules) With the hairdryer selling at about £35 and a pack of six ...

You're not drying your underpants with my turbo dryer !!
Advantages: Lightweight, easy to use, quiet, looks good Disadvantages: None at all
...my trusty old hairdryer (a Philips model) for about three years now. There is, as I say, absolutely nothing wrong with it, it works fine … (when I can find it). I just got sick and tired of having to hunt around my brother’s disgusting room for it every time I needed to dry / style my hair. The reason I made the decision recently to purchase a new one is because my brother has just owned up to using it to fast dry his ‘lucky pants’ (yes, he only ... ...I settled on another Philips simply because I’ve had so much use out of my old one and it’s lasted me well. I found the Philips Treseme HP4982 in my local branch of Asda at £15.99. I part-paid for the dryer with £10 worth of Asda vouchers I already had, so it felt like I wasn’t pulling out too much money.
I particularly liked the look of this model as it is very sleek and shiny black. It has two heat settings and two speed settings, along with what ...
