This dryer is great!
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS 292 UK /E by
charmendez
Advantages: Very good compact dryer
Disadvantages: Short power cord
I am not the best at taking good care of my hair but every now and then I try. One of the things I never do to my hair is blow dry it, it gets way too frizzy. I live on hall at Uni and so I have limited space which means getting one of those regular hooded dryers was not ideal. With the relatively low energy consumption (600 watts), it fits in great with my 1200 watts per socket limit.
Good points:
Very compact; I can take this dryer on even my ... ...fits into this lovely hard plastic case. It takes up basically the same space as a small blow dryer. Also, the hood has enough space to fit over your head even with large rollers but at the same time it still fits like a glove if your have no rollers in.
Variable heat settings:
I generally use medium heat as it gets the job done. But if you are in a hurry you can sit in a cool room with a cool drink and use the highest setting. The cool setting ...

Vidal Sassoon: a mans view
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS 536 BD by
GRIPP3D
Advantages: 3 temps and cool jet, lightweight, cheap, isn't noisy
Disadvantages: it's 20 quid that could be spent down the pub
...purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer.
At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures ... ...away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly with its silver finish and as much as I plead that it is mine, all mine, the better half of my relationship insists that it is good enough to share. What is yours is mine and what is mine is my own eh guys?
Styled in a rather thick heat resistant plastic, the grip and handle are balanced perfectly with the trigger and heat setting ...

Cheap, but Amazing!
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS 935SDE by
x-x-phil-x-x
Advantages: Light, Good Heat Settings, Cheap, Good for styling
Disadvantages: Poor cool dry feature
When I first bought this, it was because i was going on holiday, and I wanted a cheap hair dryer so i could avoid travelling with my expensive hairdryer. I was pleasantly suprised. The dryer is lightweight, and therefore ideal for travelling, but it is also very sturdy, which is another feature that less expensive hairdryers often lack. The heat is just enough to dry hair quickly and efficiently, without burning the scalp (which ius common in expensive, ... ...styling (especially straightening) hair easily. I've now sold my ghd hairdryer- in all fairness this is much better- and I use it more than my ghd ones, because I'm less afraid of breaking it and having to buy a new one. The only problem I would say, is that the "cool dry" feature is not excellent- but for me this was only a small glitch in a great hairdryer! A must have! ...

This is a BIG SHOT!!!
Review of Remington D2015BS BIG by
jupiter28
Advantages: nice looking, powerful
Disadvantages: buttons can be easily activated on the handle
I was looking for a powerful hairdryer as I have curly hair that is schizophrenic and really does what it wants. This was in Boots with £10 off, so I got it for £25 instead of £35 :o) One of the other reason I chose this hair dryer is because of the style. The hair dryer is quite sleek in white and silver. The nozzle and diffuser are clear plastic which I think is quite cool as it looks quite nice.
Contents
The hair dryer comes in the pretty ... ...the box is very big and as I use the dryer quite often the box has been put away.
As well as the hair dryer you get:
* diffuser
* concentrating nozzle
* 3 curlers
* 1 round brush
* sectioning clips
Other features:
* 3 heat and 2 speed settings
* cool shot
* removeable grill
* ionic technology
Usage
As mentioned I have wild curly hair and usually like to wear my hair straight so it can take a while to dry. Previous hairdryers ...

The very best straightener
Review of Mark Hill Professional ThermoCeramic Straightener. by
jessie179
Advantages: Different settings, heats up quickly, easy to use
Disadvantages: None
...of his gifts was a Mark Hill Straightener. Was a bit disappointed cos I had one. Whilst in SA i used my the new GHD with my sisters and it did the job but not as amazing as everyone made it out to be and i gave up. After my holiday I came back and decided to put my old one away and use my new MH straightener. Boy was I shocked. Firstly it was way better than a GHD and my hair was so sleek and now 15 months later I still havent experienced any problems ...
