Advantages: odourless
Disadvantages: oily dosent work
I bought this product as it was advertised as the new wonder treatment for headlice. although it was expensive I was impressed with the fact it was odourless but dislikedthe fact it was very oily .I followed intructions carefully and left the lotion on my childrens head a lot longer than the recommended ten minuetes as the chemicals in the lotion are supposed to draw all the moisture out of the beasties and kill them and i thought id make sure it ... ...time to try and was this greay mess out of my kids hair and they dont like getting thier hair washed at all .After one wash they still looked like grease balls after two washes there was little improvement and i gave up the fight and settled for greasy looking hair as at least the headlice were gone(I thought). Lyclear Sprayaway ASTHMA SUFFERERS BEWARE!
Review of Lyclear Spray Away by
Littlemee
Advantages: Great for quick & easy way to treat head lice
Disadvantages: Not for use with people with Asthma PLEASE READ REVIEW!
Lyclear Sprayaway, ASTHMA SUFFERERS Upon using this product on my 6 year old son we followed the instructions provided & it was as simple as that. Other than the aniseed smell which does tend to linger.
Due to me having head contact with my son i thought it would be advisable to treat me at the same time as i had been quite itchy ( not sure if that was just the thought of them or was really head lice)
but treated me all the same.
I didn't think ... ...the chemist told me that Lyclear Sprayaway is not to be used if you are Asthmatic and not even recomended to apply it either.
I find this totally unexcptable for there not to be even one warning on the box or on the instructions as this clearly is not a safe product for people with Ashma ...

full marks for full marks
Review of Full Marks Solution by
giksy21
Advantages: done the job well, no smell
Disadvantages: oily
...and bought a bottle of full marks solution, feeling a bit wierd and dirty, and brought it home. It works not by the traditional poisoning method, but rather it kind of over hydrates them, and kills them that way. This sounded ideal as i knew that they are in general starting to resist poisons. In the box i got a bottle of solution (100ml), which it says is enough for two treatments, however i found that it was ample for at least three, though this ... ...remove the dead lice.
Full marks - - eliminates eggs as well as lice
- contains no traditional pesticides
- is quick and easy to use
- has a low odour.
You use the comb to comb the hair and make sure there are no tangles. Then you massage in the solution, all the way through the hair, and especially in around the scalp. You will think that there is not enough to do it but a little goes a long way. You then leave it on for 10 minutes, though ...
