Lyclear Sprayaway......im not so sure it works as it says

Advantages: quick to use, smells like aniseed, no chemicals
Disadvantages: not effective enough, smell lingers, very few applications per bottle on a 'real' head of hair!!

I used this product a few times, my daughter has very long thick hair, and seems to get lice about once a month, even now she is in high school, but then i got them too, i guess i got close to her when she had them! Advantages: Price, easy to obtain, widely available
Disadvantages: Do not use on sensitive scalps!!!

If you have a sensitive scalp, possible open cuts etc... DO NOT TOUCH!!! You'd have to be sado-masochist... I have a very irritated, sensitive scalp and had this recommended to me by my GP. Poor guy, he thought he was doing me a favour. It's supposedly formulated for people exactly like me, with psoriasis, which I have on my scalp. Tiny bottle without big results

Advantages: Not an offensive smell
Disadvantages: Not effective on serious scalp problems (in my case anyway!)

...serious, and didn't find this Nizoral effective. It didn't overly sting, but it didn't really stop the flakiness or dryness on my scalp. My hair felt washed, but I was left with my original problem after 2 weeks of trying. I wonder why they don't sell it in bigger bottles???!!! People with thicker/longer hair are going to find this difficult to use in my opinion, not to mention ineffective. Good luck! ...

The only remedy which worked for me

Advantages: It sooths a sore and dry scalp and prevents flakiness
Disadvantages: Because it is in bar form, it does not melt in my hands and is not that easy to use
