ARGH!! Oh, actually not so bad! Advantages: Remove hairs, bargain Disadvantages: Doesn't remove as many as hot wax, pain ...I picked up these from Veet on my next visit to Tesco. WHERE TO BUY: I bought the shea butter and berry variety of the strips from Tesco where they were on offer at the time. You can also pick these up in other supermarkets and pharmacies, including Boots and Superdrug. While they may not all stock the shea butter and berry ones they all seem to stock at least one variety and they all seem to do the same job. PRICE: The price depends on when you ... ...They do seem to be on offer quite a bit as well. EXPERIENCE: Ok, I've bought the strips and I'm ready. I've managed to get plastered in preparation for the pain of doing this myself (I don't really drink but this had me seriously thinking about it!). On opening the box I'm confronted with 20 strips, four perfect finish wipes which come in their own foil packets and an instruction leaflet. Nothing Expert About These... Advantages: Gets rid of dead skin cells on your top lip? Disadvantages: Don't work I am reviewing Boots own brand of facial waxing strips. I’m dark haired so obviously need to sort out the little bit of dark hair which is visible on my top lip. I went through a waxing phase but not finding any method or product successful am back to using depilatory cream. Product appearance: The product is around the £3.50-£4.00 mark which isn’t really that cheap considering it’s an own brand. The product is branded ‘Expert’, as are most of Boot’s ... ...is. I had used the Boots depilatory cream which worked wonders so thought I’d give these a whirl. The box is a bit bigger than a pack of cards and has a picture of a top lip (smooth, obviously not by using these strips!). The strips upon opening are plaster shaped and have a straight line of ‘wax’ (which proved to be like cello tape) on sugar type paper. hurts but worth it!!
