Spend 2 hours waxing your legs!!
Review of Immac Cold Wax Strips by
TheInvestigator
Advantages: Not as messy as using a wax pot.
Disadvantages: Expensive and time consuming.
I thought this product would be convenient and easy to use but unfortunately this was not the case.
The strips cost around £6.00 a pack and this works out quite expensive as you do use quite a lot of them when waxing your legs-and I'm not 6ft by the way!! The strips are to be warmed by rubbing them between your hands for about 20seconds. I found this to be quite uncomfortable after a while and my hands started to ache. The strips did remove most ... ...lot of effort as I kept having to wax over the same area to remove all the hair. After what seemed like hours I was exhausted and already started to dread my next waxing session. I only had a few strips left though so I used them to tidy my bikini line on a coulple of occasions. I felt a sense of relief come over me when I finally threw their empty box in the bin-I felt like doing a little dance. I will never buy them again.EVER!! ...

Veet Wax Strips
Review of Immac Ready To Use Wax Strips (sensitive) by
1supersam
Advantages: Quick, easy and lots of free samples around
Disadvantages: Nervous anticipation as you wax for the first time
I have used various methods of hair removal on my face and arms before shaving, hair removal cream and bleaching. I found Veet to be easy to use and unlike other methods of hair removal it took 3 weeks approximately before the hair grew back. I have a low pain threshold so was nervous about using this product, I was quite surprised as I didn't find it that painful at all. It does sting initially but that soon wears off and you get a soothing wipe ...

10 quid that could be better spent!
Review of Immac Warm Wax AquaSystem by
izzybee
Advantages: can be done without a cooker or microwave
Disadvantages: doesn't work that well!!!!
...kits you can't beat the Immac that comes in a pot with the traditional wooden applicator stick and cotton reusable strips, although one disadvantage of this product that has concerned me for a while is the difficulty of reuse and lack of portability of the pot because it does tend to get rather sticky and messy once opened! However, this is not a review of that...
Just before I was off on holiday I wanted to give myself a thorough waxing (legs, ... ...the supermarket to see that the only warm wax they had was this warm wax solution, priced at a massive £9.99, for what looked like a small quantity. However, there didn't seem to be many other options out there and I had seen this product in the past and wondered if it might prove a little cleaner to use than the more traditional method so I decided to give it a whirl.
Sad though it sounds I was quite excited when I got home and poured the hot water ...

Veet formerly known as immac
Review of Immac Warm Wax with Green Tea Extracts by
roxmas
Advantages: Goes a long long way
Disadvantages: Not enough strips
Great, is the one thing I can say. I have tried many products and great is not what I was saying to the pain. This though does not have a very high pain factor - but isn't painless. I bought it for a staggering £8.49 which to me is alot of money for hair free legs but it did last along time.
This product is easily heated in the microwave for a minute or so, and spreads on very easily. It comes with a great spatula that states NO if the wax is too ... ...that there are enough strips to remove the wax with but they can be used up to three times each and stuck together for re-usage. I think they do this to stop you using it all at once. They can also be washed and re-used. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It can also be used everywhere if need be not just the legs, as many waxes are not like this. It would be a bonus if it included clean up wipes to clear the wax up with after. It is ...
