Skin removal not hair
Review of Louis Marcel Crystal Gel Strip Wax by
lozloz
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: Painful and don't work
I found Louis Marcel crystal gel wax so awful I felt I should warm others to stay away.
Below you will find what this product claims it can do.
Salon smoothness without the appointment. Louis Marcel 'Crystal Gel' Strip Wax with the addition of natural avocado oil and vitamin E is a salon style cold wax-like treatment for use at home, in safe, easy and ready to use pre-coated strips. Unwanted hair is removed down to and including roots, so regrowth ... ...the treated area gently with Louis Marcel Aftercare Balm Oil Tissues to remove excess residue and moisturise the skin. Reality
***********
These waxing atrips are useless. The honey fragrance is more of a chemical fragrance and they don’t work.
I followed the above directions carefully and they removed less than half of the hairs on my legs and quite a bit of skin. And when it comes to removing any residual wax you need a scrubbing brush not aftercare ...

NAD SO GOOD
Review of Nad's No Heat Hair Remover Wax by
shhh.grrr
Advantages: I'm not sure if there were any....
Disadvantages: Read on to find out!
From the great reviews everyone else gave this product I was expecting amazing results which is why I was prepared to shell out £15 for a tub of Nads in my local Boots.
Unfortunately I can't say that Nads performed any better then an own-brand sugaring kit. It's not like it did terribly it's just that I had a number of issues with the product:
1. Firstly the 'gel' was really, really hard. I don't know how you're meant to use the product without ... ...into it. This was annoying because the whole reason I'd decided to try Nads rather then using the usual hot wax/sugaring alternatives was because I couldn't be bothered with having to warm it up. Anyway... after following the instructions and putting it in hot tap water for 5 minutes the gel was pliable and I thought things were looking up... HOWEVER
2. This method is NOT pain free as the blurb on the box may suggest. It basically rips the hair ...

Ouch Ouch Ouch!!
Review of Nair Easy Wax by
DeniseKelly40
Advantages: Effective
Disadvantages: Can hurt
Nair Easy Wax **WHAT IT DOES**
It is a wax, which will remove hair quickly with lasting results. It is hot wax, which is heated in the microwave. There is no mess and no strips as when applying this wax as you just peel it off. It will remove any unwanted hair leaving skin smooth and hair free. It claims to be effective even on short hair.
**PACKAGING**
It comes in a cardboard box which is mostly bright purple with green headings. All writing ... ...the front and top of the box there is the 'Nair' logo which is in dark blue and it also has brief information on the product here. On the other sides of the box it gives you very detained information about the product on how it use it and what cautions to take.
Inside there is a purple tub that has the hard wax inside. It is rather sturdy and this is what you put into the microwave to heat up. The 'Nair' logo is on the front of this tub in white ...

Wax on, wax off...
Review of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips by
Leighsa
Advantages: Ensures slower regrowth.
Disadvantages: Takes a bit of practice to ensure best results.
Veet Facial Waxing Strips
****************************
For those of you who are new to waxing, this may not be the most encouraging first choice - I suppose, shaving is the easiest or even plucking, though fairly painful and potentially takes forever.
What is it?
***********
Waxing strips for hair removal. A solidified liquid wax the size of a wooden ice-cream stick is encased between two plastic sheets. The pack refers to facial waxing strips ... ...of the body such as underarms, bikini line and touch-ups. For the face, the strips can be used for the upper lip, chin and centre brow. How do I use them?
*********************
It is usually best to test on a small area first to check for any sensitivities. Normally, if you have not waxed before, it is best to start waxing on the legs before attempting on the facial area in order to gain sufficient skill.
First , make sure the skin area is thoroughly ...

Review of Jolen: Facial Strip Wax by
beccy9992
Advantages: cheap, not as painful as others
Disadvantages: Doesn't work so well, bad reaction to this product
It's time to make a rather unfortunate (if not unattractive) confession: left unattended, a lot of tiny dark hairs start to appear on my upper-lip. As time goes on, these tiny hairs start to resemble a moustache that Hulk Hogan, Ned Flanders and even my dear late father would be proud of. Understandably, this is not really something I want to keep on my person for too long. So, for a few years, every four weeks, I'd pop off down to a local beauty ... ...results were perfect - my upper-lip was hair-free! But then I started to become disheartened about how much money I was wasting on this four-weekly event, I mean, how hard can it be to wax off some hairs from a relatively small patch of skin? Well, quite hard by all accounts. Maybe my technique is wrong, but I have tried numerous cold-wax products, and whilst hairs are removed, I am still left with something of a five-o-clock shadow…my stubborn nature ...
