I have used Babyliss before and was satisfied. I can't afford the market leaders but to be honest I doubt they are any better than Babyliss.
I have found Babyliss hair straighteners reliable and affordable, thats why I have chosen them again. They look good and are easy to use and do what they are supposed to do. They could possibly do with coming with a heatproof travel type pouch as I take them to use at the gym.
