fantastic straightners
Review of Babyliss 2085 U/2085 CTE/2086 CTE by

Advantages: Temperature adjustment and easy to handle.
Disadvantages: None as of yet.
...hair- and I went to Babyliss as they have never failled me when I used their other products. The Babyliss 2085U work beautifully on your hair, they have a range of temp settings on a dial are dead simple to use and will leave even the wildest hair tamed! I would really recommend these to anyone searching for new straightners- they are just as good as the others that are always advertised and I feel that they may even be better! (anything that can ... ...must be good) Other straightners can be too hot and therefore ruin your hair but these are really not going to do that. You can get them in most stores- mine were off the highstreet! I have had mine for a year now and they still work the same as the day I bought them- trust me these are an investment- not a whim buy. They will last and will leave your hair straight and yet still full of life. ...

Portable Perfection? - not quite
Review of Babyliss 2581U by
groovyem100
Advantages: cordless, straighten effectively
Disadvantages: no temperature controll
...much hinting, I received these babyliss cordless straighteners as a Christmas gift. The first thing I noticed about them was just how small and light they really were. The ceramic plates are around an inch and a half in diameter and about 4 inches long, which is ample for quick fixes to my hair when out and about. The main body of the straighteners houses the gas cartridge which is what powers them instead of mains electricity. These straighteners ... ...This version of the babyliss straighteners doesn't have a temperature control, so if you wanted to give your hair a break from high temperatures, you are basically stuck. On the plus side though, the top temperature is 215˚C which is as good as any mains operated straightener. The time taken for them to heat up is reasonable too, taking less than 30 seconds whenever I have used them. This also adds to the convenience of the product.
In my experience, ...

Babyliss 2075U Review
Review of Babyliss 2075U by
nightsurfer05
Advantages: Easy to use, Variable temperature
Disadvantages: Buttons very easy to change without realising.
I dont normally by Babyliss so was quite cautious at first, these have been one of the best products i've bought this year. Bought these hair straighteners due to my Remington straighteners going faulty.
They are easy to use and the gold ceramic plates make my hair smooth, sleek and shiny. The Variable temperature helps and is viewed on the top arm of the straighteners making it easy to maintain the correct setting. The buttons though are easy to ...

Babyliss Total Freedom, Total Straightening!
Review of Babyliss 2099U by
Kaddywyn
Advantages: Good value for money, excellent straightening, can be cordless.
Disadvantages: None.
...better pair. I chose the Babyliss Total Freedom straighteners because I'd read brilliant reviews about it, and at £19.99 from Argos (this was a few months ago, it may be in the sales now!) it was a bargain. I wasn't particularly interested in the cordless aspect because I'm not too bothered about the cord, but it claimed that the temperatures in excess of 200 degrees are better for straightening hair.
The straighteners came in three pieces in a ... ...as I started using the Babyliss Total Freedom straighteners, people kept saying "have you straightened your hair?" even though I always did anyway, and it just shows what a difference it made.
I've had these straighteners for a few months now, and I love them. They are brilliant, and so worth the money (which was only £20 anyway!). They were cheap, are simple to use, and really straighten my hair well. The handle doesn't get hot, and I've never ...

Good budget Straighteners
Review of Babyliss 2025CE/CRE/HU Ceramic by
kinky_lil_kitten
Advantages: Heat quickly, good performance, nice budget pair
Disadvantages: Results not as good as expensive ones
...until I came across the Babyliss 2025HU professional slim ceramic straightening iron on Amazon. With an RRP of £19.99 I only actually paid a partial £12.99 for these and as they were quite cheap they seemed to fit the bill in case I was to lose them on holiday. Of course they do not give me the same performance as my Remington straighteners but as they cost a whole £50 less I never expected them to.
One of the problems I’ve had in the past is the ... ...anything to my hair. My hair can be quick think and curls quite a bit if it dries when it is wet. So I was quite surprised that these reached a temperature that not only got to grips with the thickness of my hair but also got hot enough to give me a finished result I was very happy with.
It normally takes me about 15 minutes for these to really do the job on my hair. At times I wish I hate my friend Lindsey’s hair as hers is always done so much ...
