Its Portable but is it practical Advantages: cordless, inexpensive Disadvantages: not hot enough, catches hair Babyliss Portability I have probably mentioned before that I couldn't live without my GHDs,- best straighteners I've ever tried but they are too expensive to throw in your bag or leave in work. I was also wary about taking them on holiday in case they blew upburnt out with the voltage change (I really love my GHDs and this did happen to my friends dryer in the Canaries) Last summer in Boots sale I found a cordless version of the Babyliss straighteners ... ...gas like in the old braun curling tongs) and thought they'd be ideal for holidays or leaving in my drawer at work the rest of the year in case I got caught in the rain. The silver, black and white packaging looked quite upmarket and the front proclaimed High temperature Ceramic coated plates for an ultra smooth finish and the reduced price of £9.99 swung it for me as I could pay that for lunch somedays. Am I Turned On? Advantages: Tames my hair. Disadvantages: Turning them off is too easy. ...My previous straighteners had been Babyliss and I had been very happy with them. I have several friends who recommended GHD but since I didn't intend to rob a bank I felt I should choose something a bit cheaper( although GHDs do keep appearing on my Christmas lists!). How Much and What Do You Get? I purchased these around Christmas time and they were on half price offer at Argos at £28. I think the current selling price seems to be about ... ...sites so I would suggest it is easy to get them at less than £30. The straighteners are black with a 4inch long plate. There is a good length of cord which is useful to reach my mirror. The straighteners came with a heat protective wrap/pad. I felt this was quite flimsy and didn't seem to fit very well so I tend to rest mine on a heat resistant pad that is actually designed for use in a kitchen! amazing Advantages: conditions hair whilst straighting Disadvantages: none what so ever i have just used these for the first time. they are brill they left my hair poker straight. i was a bit scepical at first. I thought the avocardo oil infussed in the plates would leave my hair greasy not at all! just super soft and straight JUST LIKE WALKING OUT OF A SALON! i also own the futra salon straigtners they are also really good leaving hair poker straight too. yuko straightening system Advantages: great, silky straight hair Disadvantages: no more GHDs or blowdryer Hi I had Yuko done on my hair 7 months ago. It is fantastic. I had tried other types of straightening before this and it is not the same at all. I had hair breakage from previous thermal straightening, which is why I decided to try Yuko. My hair is so easy to manage. I have about an inch or so of re-growth. price is reasonable too, but I suppose you also have to put yourself in the position of the hair technician doing it - it isn't something that ... ...irons ...They have Brazilian treatment, Yuko and IHR treatments at reasonable price, lovely hair result, just wanted to say thank u fiz for such a hard work and made my hair n personality shine. and beyond that i like your nature which is so pleasing and welcoming .. you make your client feel so special that shows your a true professional..
