Corioliss C2 straigheners are great and look good too!! Advantages: Funky pattern, quick to heat up, adjustable temperature, slim, lighweight Disadvantages: Have to prise them away from mum when I want to use them in the morning So its my birthday, I have asked my mum for a new pair of straighteners as the plates on my old GHD's have fallen out. I unwrap my present expecting the latest pair of GHD's in hot pink, and I get these straighteners that I havent heard of , but in a rather cool leapord print box. I try to hide my dissapointment that they are not GHDs and put them on the side. When I get home later I decide to experiment with these straighteners that aren't the GHDs ... ...better than my GHDs! They are very lightweight, heat up super quickly, have thin plates so arent too bulky, and you can adjust the temperature with a nifty dial on the wire. They turn off automatically after about 30 minutes so you don't leave them on all day if you forget to unplug them, and not only can you straighten you hair you can also get tight curls, or loose curls and flicks easily from these straighteners. These put GHD's to shame Advantages: Lightweight and brilliant result Disadvantages: Pricey I am a hairdresser and have used many hair straighteners over the years. GHD were the best...........until i discovered these. They are slim, very lightweight and come in a variety of colours including sliver, gold and leopard print. The packaging is very smart, the kind of box you present a birthday present in to someone - shiny and good quality material. The straighteners reach a temperature of 210c in 20 seconds, and the digital controller allows ... ...wish, depending on the thickness and length of hair - and style desired. The cord is very long so they are brilliant to use when styling someones hair and even better on your own. The straighteners are titanium plated so glide across your hair, and also work by cleaning your hair as they straighten it by using anti-bacterial technology - bonus!! great till they went bang Advantages: - Disadvantages: -- **Corioliss Pink Hair Straightener** I am what you call an impulse shopper,i see something i want i buy it.I just could not resist the little stand in the shopping centre filled with boxes and boxes of straighteners. So i walked went up to the stand and the first thing i did was try them out,just to see what they were like of course,and the assistant informed me that they could also be used for creating flicks at the ends of your hair or for ... ...enough especially as these lovely things came in pink!!!. Now i know you supposed to read up about stuff before you buy them but the first thing i did when i got home was check out the product on the internet.The lady at the stall had said that these were just like GHDs and i wanted to see if this was accurate-from what i can tell they are just as good and don't have such an expensive price tag!!! Corioliss Pro Ceramic Straighteners Advantages: High Heat. Quick Heat-Up Disadvantages: Problems with the control panel I received the Corioliss straighteners (with the skull design on) for my birthday last month (February). I was very pleased with them when they arrived and couldn't wait to use them. That was until I switched them on. The straighteners have a 3m cable which have a control panel about half a metre down it whereby you can switch the straightners on and control the temperature. When deciding whether to buy them - as they were going to cost my boyfriend ... ...they were like, and this is where if found out that the control panel shows an error message if something goes wrong. Very handy I thought, until I was sat looking at the control panel with its little error message and realising it doesnt come with an instruction manual. Overall impressed but pricey Advantages: Quick to heat up Disadvantages: Price Overall these straighteners were good, I bought them in a panic when I broke my other pair. Didn't take too long to heat up no slower than a normal straightener.
