My old straighteners broke and I couldn't afford a pair of GHD's at the time so on the recommendation of a friend I tried these which were on the shelf at Woolworths. At £30 they were a lot cheaper than GHD's or other salon stylers. My hair is mid length and slightly wavy. yuko straightening system

Advantages: great, silky straight hair
Disadvantages: no more GHDs or blowdryer

Hi I had Yuko done on my hair 7 months ago. It is fantastic. I had tried other types of straightening before this and it is not the same at all. I had hair breakage from previous thermal straightening, which is why I decided to try Yuko. My hair is so easy to manage. Remmington Wet 2 straight- great results saves time

Disadvantages: Wide and short

I have owned these straighteners for ages (think about 2 years) and I love them. They have a wide straighening plate although it is quite short in lenght. They heat up fairly quickly and don't cool down much during use. These straighteners are really simple to use, just wash your hair as normal, pat dry with a towel to remove excess water, apply any product and off you go.
