Head Up High..
Review of Nclarke NCS54/NCS70 by
Goldfish100
Advantages: frizz control
Disadvantages: everyone wants to borrow them
I have quite curly hair. Some would say WAYYYYY to curly hair...
And it is not only curly...... its frizzy! unbelieveably so!
It upsets me soo much.. and my self esteem.
I used to have a pair of hum drum straighteners... and they did ok.. not dead straight but not too frizzy either... slightly bearable.
At christmas I got a pair of these Nicky Clarke Straightners... and Oh My God They are awesome!!!!!!
I can get my hair exactly how straight ... ...do not even have to straighten my hair as often.. it has a leasting effect... even after washes..
I now do not worry about having people laughing or talking about my frizzy mess of a head..... I can walk with my head held high...
confidently...
strutting my stuff

Good Quality Straightner
Review of Nclarke NCS75 by
EllieHarris04
Advantages: Heats up quickly, straightens even thick hair perfectly, not heavy to hold, great price!
Disadvantages: When left on for a while, smells like somethings burning.
I thought these straightners were really good, i bought them because they were cheap at the time and also ive had nicky clarke products before and i think they are really good quality!
They were on offer at argos £20 and they were originally something like £40 so it was a good bargin.
They get to 230 degrees and that really does straighten my hair and my hair is really thick and slightly wavy. The good thing is you can adjust to the temperature ... ...i spend alot of time on my hair so i take time straightning it.
High temperature 230ºC Ceramic and Tourmaline technology Combines ionic and infra red technology to help make hair softer and easier to style whilst promoting healthy hair and scalp Ceramic technology for ultra fast heat up Variable heat dial with 5 settings On/off switch with power on indicator light Salon cable Swivel cord for tangle-free cable With my old straightners my hair used ...

These straighteners are brilliant
Review of Nclarke NCS22 Cerami by
cheerxtreme
Advantages: work very well, heat up fast.
Disadvantages: not to be used on wet hair
I use these straightners on my hair, my hair is very thick and wavy, so normally my hair is hard to get that out of the salon straight hair look, but with these straightners my hair looks amazing, they are very easy to use and heat up really quickly. I definately reccomend them. The look very stylish, they are easy to hold and use, very light. They also gave my hair a lovely shine. The more i used them ( i used them everyday) my hair started to feel ... ...much. When using hair straightners i reccomend using a heat protecting cream, because if you use hair straightners to much you will get plenty of split ends and dead hair. The only downside to these straightners is you cant straighten from wet hair, i always think that blowdrying first always helps anyway. a good way to straighten hair is seperate into sections and straighten bit by bit. ...

VERY GOOD QUICK TO HEAT UP AND EASY TO USE
Review of Nclarke NCS69 by
tobydoguff
Advantages: easy to use with little practice
Disadvantages: burns your fingers if you are not careful
I LIKE THIS STRAIGHTENER AS I HAVE DIFFICULT TO MANAGE HAIR, IT IS VERY EASY TO USE AND IT HAS A LITTLE STAND WHEN NOT IN USE
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH ANY STRAIGHTENER IS YOU CAN EASILY BURN YOUR FINGERS OR HANDS ON THE PLATES.
THE SAYING IS TOTALLY CORRECT THOUGH THE MORE YOU PAY THE BETTER THE GOODS I WOULD DEFINATLY RECOMMEND THESE BUT MAKE SURE YOU BY A GEL OR LOTION TO PROTECT YOUR HAIR AS IT CAN BECOME BURNT AND EXTREMELY DRY YOU CAN BUY THESE ...

No short cut with these straighteners
Review of Nclarke NCS10 by
Marans
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Difficult to get a good result
Now, I'll begin by admitting I'm a bit puzzled and I'll tell you why.
I settled down to write about my Nicky Clarke hair straighteners. I've used these on and off (excuse the pun) for about a year now, so I think I'm ready to comment on them. But heres my problem. Which model am I using?
It all seemed very simple. The model number was on the box and also stamped into the plastic handles, so I'm sure we're talking about the NCS 10. With me so far?
... ...and was suprised to see it mentions a heat-dial, as the spec. for this model says it shouldn't have one. Then I find that this model doesn't have a brush with it, but mine does. So now I wonder if all Mr Clarkes minions are economising on packaging by using the same label on diferent models. You see? It just gets worse.
Now you've been warned you may not be getting what you expect when you read the spec. so let's take it from here and find out more.
