marria-x
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: No different temperature settings
The Vidal Sassoon VS 5311 hair straightener is a straightener which has hugely benefited fromt he latest technology. Vidal Sassoon are a very well-known and highly respected brand for making straighteners, hair dryers, blow dryers, curling tongs and many more. GHD's like a car, vibrator or best mate
Review of GHD Professional Ceramic Straightener by
orenlisie
Advantages: amazing results, even on bad frizzy hair.
Disadvantages: slightly pricey and time consuming
GHD's are a modern girls beauty essential must have. Although on the pricey side of life, once you have them they last forever and you soon find yourself unable to cope with out them. I bought mine online as I found getting to a hairdresser's who sell them tricky and a little intimidating. It is worth investigating the best price online as this varies a lot in my experience. Best tips are to always wash hair first and use a serum, try to avoid using ...

Good for hair not prone to frizz.
Review of Corioliss Classic Black Straightner by
Steph_273
Advantages: Cheap, long lasting.
Disadvantages: Not as effective as GHDs
...correctly.
I sent them to corioliss using express delivery - they sent me back a new pair within two day!
Amazing.
Although my hair doesn't stay poker straight all day long with these, i could certainly reccomend them.
If you have hair prone to frizz like me, I think it would be better to get GHDs, although they are very expensive, the results last.
But, Corioliss are much cheaper (£60) and work amazingly for their price.
These straighteners ...

Mark Hill
Review of Mark Hill Straight AND Shine Styler by
lara.richardson
Advantages: Impressive desinger label, nice colours
Disadvantages: Not worth the money!
...entitling you to a free mark hill mini product of your choice from boots (Probably my favorite part of the whole package)
And a 'style bible' giving you tips on hair care etc, also quite good.
The straighteners themselves work well if put on full heat, but no way near as good as ghd's
Overall i'd say yes to the half price offer at boots, but a definate no to anything more ...

Pink GHD's
Review of GHD Professional Ceramic Straightener by
EllieCaie
Advantages: colour, quailty, lifespan
Disadvantages: expense.
I bought these GHD straighteners about a year ago
they have not broken once, or failed to disappoint.
i bought them for around £90
and in my opinion, this was money well spent
my straighteners are hot pink, and came with a pink case, which folds out as a heat resistant mat, that will protect any surface from the intense heat of the hair straighteners.
they also came with four pink hair clips, to help whist straightening your hair.
when you ...
