quick review Advantages: effective, temperature adjustment feature Disadvantages: squeaking noise made by the joint I purchased this a few months ago and it's proven very efficient. There is one thing i noticed right from the first day though - when used, the joint makes a sqeaking noise, a "feature" i quickly got used to though. I've also found that the two plates aren't perfectly lined up against eachother, so you have to squeeze them together a bit, which becomes tiring after a while. The cord is long enough for me to plug it in my room and go all the way ... ...though you might find it encumbering if you plan on travelling a lot. You choose the temperature, which is my favourite feature, because my hair is already a bit straight, so I can set a smaller temperature and not damage my hair too much. Vidal Sasoon Review Advantages: looks good, long cable, doesnt make your hair frizy/static Disadvantages: results arent that good, results don't last I've had these straightners for just under a year now. I have really long, thick, curly and static hair. The vs046 straightners arent ideal for my hair. No matter how long i straighten for, it doesnt make my hair poker straight. And When it is straight, it never lasts more than 10 minutes. They take a long time to heat up, and the maximum temperature is meant to be 210, but they arent very hot. Recently i've had my hair cut and they work a little ... ...30 minutes to get my hair straight, and then it didnt last. My hair often gets caught in the grooves on the edges of the heat plates. Remington Wet2Straight Slim hair straightner Advantages: Can be used on wet & dry hair. Heats up in 15 seconds Disadvantages: roots of hair are still damp when straightening from wet As a Bzz Agent I was invited to test these straightners at a reduced price. I'm so glad I did. I feel they are very easy to use, slim and slightly curved, making it good to hold. I got them to save me time. I can straighten from towel dried hair, instead of blow drying then straightening, it takes about 10 mins. They has a blue LED light for wet & a green light for dry. It is easy to change between settings and to adjust the temperature. In my opinion ... ...does hiss and there's some steam when used on wet hair, which is normal. They have a fabric pouch which I think is handy for storage. Excellent Straighteners & a Great Gift Advantages: Durable, Perfect Straight Hair, So Simple To Use Disadvantages: Don't use on wet hair it damages them ...a hairdresser and swears by GHD she should actually just change jobs and promote them that’s how passionate and convincing she can be. And to quote her in some way - Yes they are more expensive than most of the other brands but unless you are really unlucky you will never need to own another pair of straighteners again as they are so good and durable. The fact that she can do hers & my hair in just one stoke achieving perfect straightness is amazing ... GHD Styler - hair straighteners that save time and effort! Advantages: heats up quickly! straightens, curls and creates waves! turns off automatically if left on!! Disadvantages: can't straighten when hair is wet ...to select one from the GHD range. Their obviously higher prices seemed to be more for a one of Christmas or birthday present, not something solely for vanity purposes! However, when I came to finally decide to buy this product, I was AMAZED. Truly, coming from someone who loves to do her hair all the time and takes pride in her appearance, this product certainly shaved off so much time from my daily routine. I can straighten and curl with it, which ... ...which just means you need to invest in a good hairdryer to use beforehand (if you’re not into letting it dry naturally!). So yeah, go for this product!
