MAGIC WAND!!

Advantages: Natural looking curls, long wire, freebie gloves n mat!
Disadvantages: a few burns when learning!!!

Well where do i start!!!??? I call this my MAGIC WAND!!! Iv'e searched everywhere for THE perfect curling device. I'm very picky when it comes to curls!!! don't like them too tight like a poodle, or too spirally, or too 'old fashioned' Iv'e tried many many devices...tongs, curlers, bendy things, rags, even the mighty GHD straighteners that curl!!!! but nothing can compare to this little beauty. I spotted it in a magazine....it claimed to make natural ...
...curls all the way around your head making you look like a perfect little angel!! so of course they went on my birthday wish list!!! and at a total of £30 they were a bargain!!! I hav'nt seen them in many shops.....but they are available online...and the cheapest I found was on amazon.co.uk So when it arrived i could'nt wait to try them.....they came out the box.....and I picked up the instructions....expecting a long and informative procedure!! ...

You Curl

Advantages: Straightens well, heats up quick,
Disadvantages: Difficult to use the curling feature

...supposedly a video on the babyliss website showing you how to do it, so that could be worth a wee look. The straighteners are really good as well. My hair always looks straight and shiny and smooth. One nice feature is that the power cord can rotate so you won't get tangled up when you're curling. Overall, it's an ok product if I figure out how to get the look I want. It heats up really quickly, straightens well and would probably curl excellently ...

GHDs win again!

Advantages: great for short hair, or creating funky corkscrew curls.
Disadvantages: pricey, and similar to other GHDs

As with all GHDs this product is top of the market for what it does...these smaller irons are designed for really short hair and generally i just use them mainly on men. The slim iron means no finger burning when trying to straighten really short hair. I would not reccomend them for hair any longer than a few inches, as for this kind of length the original GHD's are better and quicker.The only time i use the mini stylers on longer hair is if a want ...

BraunGCS 70 Style N'GO - GREAT HAIR TOOL

Advantages: quick, easy to use, light weight, no trailing flex
Disadvantages: Cost of cartridges

Have used these Braun stylers for about 20 years and always found them excellent - easy to use , they do what they say they do and the barrel is easy to clean when it becomes sticky with styling product . They are easy to carry about and have a safety cover which holds the 'off' button in place and is heat-proof. They are light weight to use and have the advantage of no trailing wire as with electricty powered tongs. I find that these tongs last ...
