I purchased this styler some months ago, but after years of struggling to style my hair and purchasing many hair styling gadgets that were unsuccesful, I didn't really hold out much hope for it. It is brilliant. Its quick, easy and makes my hair look healthy and shiny. It took a few goes to get the hang, but I couldn't be without it now. Advantages: heats up quickly
Disadvantages: awkward to use, can get better results with strightners.

Waited a while before getting these as wasn't entirely sure they would do what they promised,but saw them an sale and thought why not give them a go. Wish i hadn't bothered. Even when following the instructions to the letter 9 times out of ten all i got was a bump in my hair, on the odd occaission i did get a curl it, it was litterally one in the whole strand of hair ( my hair is fairly long , midway down back) in addition to this the strighteners ...
...and got better results, i have had a few other pairs of babylis strightners and must say these havn't impressed me much either. On the plus side these do heat up VERY quickly so at a push i may use them as strighteners if i really was in a rush. The whole idea behind these is to make curling your hair as easy as strightening it, so my advise is to spend the money on a decent pair of striaghteners and do it that way, or even a cheap curling tong, ...
