Have used these Braun stylers for about 20 years and always found them excellent - easy to use , they do what they say they do and the barrel is easy to clean when it becomes sticky with styling product . They are easy to carry about and have a safety cover which holds the 'off' button in place and is heat-proof. ...I have is that up to about 1O years ago you could refill them with a can of lighter fuel, which was obviously much cheaper, but I suppose Braun thought about that and decided it was better for THEM if they sold disposable cartridges, which, I think are vastly over-priced. ...

Smooth or curls? You choose!

Advantages: Very portable can use it anywhere, tried and tested
Disadvantages: Need to purchase refills

I have been using Braun gas powered styling wands for more years than I care to remember - having been born with straight hair (and having a mother who really wanted me to have curls) over the years I have spent time and money trying to introduce a 'bend' into it.
