Overall a nice product Advantages: Curlers work well, not much chance of burns, steam stops curls from falling out Disadvantages: straighteners aren't much good! This product comes with a handle, a curling attatchment, a flicking atattchment and a straightening atattchment which clip onto the handle. It is mains powered and comes with two free gifts. I found this product generally quite good. The curling attatchment worked nicely and although flicking one also worked quite well it took a while to learn to use effectively. however, the straighteners were difficult to use as they are too wide and they didnt ... ...to get rid of. The steam works well but I found that unless you screw it on very well, the water container tends to leak and so you have to empty it between use which can be a bit of a pain. Also although the clip is a good idea it leaves a kink in your hair. A handy product for shampooing and scalp massage Advantages: - Disadvantages: - I don't get to go to the Hairdresser as often as I'd like - which is a shame, as I quite enjoy having someone fuss round my hair . life was great before GHD......... You Curl Advantages: Straightens well, heats up quick, Disadvantages: Difficult to use the curling feature ...supposedly a video on the babyliss website showing you how to do it, so that could be worth a wee look. The straighteners are really good as well. My hair always looks straight and shiny and smooth. One nice feature is that the power cord can rotate so you won't get tangled up when you're curling. Overall, it's an ok product if I figure out how to get the look I want. BraunGCS 70 Style N'GO - GREAT HAIR TOOL Advantages: quick, easy to use, light weight, no trailing flex Disadvantages: Cost of cartridges Have used these Braun stylers for about 20 years and always found them excellent - easy to use , they do what they say they do and the barrel is easy to clean when it becomes sticky with styling product . They are easy to carry about and have a safety cover which holds the 'off' button in place and is heat-proof. They are light weight to use and have the advantage of no trailing wire as with electricty powered tongs.
