Half-Life 2 is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game and the sequel to the highly acclaimed Half-Life. It was developed by Valve Corporation and was released on November 16, 2004, following a protracted five-year, $40 million development cycle during which the game's source code was leaked to the Internet. The game uses the Source game engine, which includes a heavily modified version of the Havok physics engine. Originally available only for Windows-based personal computers, the game has since been ported to the Xbox, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 video game consoles.

Here it is the game that revolutionised the gaming industry! HALF-LIFE 2 created by valve was the best gamer ever created, the game uses the holy "source engine" as some people my say as this is the potential building block for all valve games such as counter-strike source or day of defeat source.
Half-Life 2 takes place in a dystopian world in which the events of Half-Life have fully come to bear on human society. The game takes place in and around the fictional City 17 and follows the adventures of scientist Gordon Freeman. Freeman must fight against increasingly unfavorable odds in order to survive. -from wiki
Half-Life 2 garnered near-unanimous positive reviews and received critical acclaim, winning over 35 Game of the Year awards for 2004!! - now you understand me?
Also another unique thing about this game is that throughout the entirety of Half-Life 2, Gordon never speaks, and the player views the action through his eyes only. There are no cut scenes, nor are there any discontinuities or jumps in time from the player's point of view.
One of the things i like about half-life 2 was the game interactiveness such as when i shine a light into Alyx vance eye she squints and put her and up to block the light also in one of the chapters in the game i was fighting zombies with her and then i heard a voice making a zombie sound but it sounded like a female voice then i turned around to see and the alyx laughed saying "haha gotcha!" i was like oh my god! A female character in the game making jokes that is not corny in any way unlike other games female characters was only used as a sex symbol or some guys girl who get kidnapped, but unlike Alyx Vance she always stick up for herself and does not really need a man to save herself.
overall this is one of the best games I have ever played including the further sequels released by valve which I totally recommend to you boys and girls out there.
As the fat comic book guy says out of the Simpsons: "BEST GAME EVER!"
I also recommend the multi-player called HALF-LIFE 2: DEATHMATCH.

Yes you have but there are still a lot of paragraphs from Wikipedia in amongst your own opinions (which you haven't referenced) and the review is still not 90% your own work. Rated amended anyhow.

Advantages: Great immersive gameplay, brilliant sound, gorgeous visuals, plays out well Disadvantages: hmmmm... ???? ehmmm ?? I really cant think of any ??
