A triumph for the xbox at long last! a sequel enjoyed by all!!! Ok, maybe i'll slow down a bit

Guns - Fantastic, a good variety and not too space age to make you feel castrated from the warm feel of steel and iron of a real gun. Assault rifles with a good range of firepower (The clip empties fast though).
The SMG - Something reminiscent of the MP7. A little Sloppy though due to kickback but puts them down just the same
Crossbow - Crossbow with scope, Powerful as hell. Arrow is slow but guarantees definate beatdown
Laser guided missle system - For taking down those pesky striders. Good for outmanouvering they anti missle defence. Not AS powerful against hostiles.
Shotgun - Powerful. Robust. a great weapon against the headcrabs and their victims
.357 Magnum - Oh hell yes. My personal favourite, a 6 shot i'll admit but if you land one boy to those guys go down. Useful against all enemies

Storyline - Again, absolutely fantastic. Gives a good reflection on our own government at the same time as you feel like you're right there fighting with your men. You are fighting back against a government who wants to rule the world with a breed of aliens who turn willing humans into cyborgs etc whether you like it or not. Fortunately your SMG, Assault Rifle, Crossbow (Your sniper crossbow that is) and selection of grenades say different. So you and an underground selection of allies fight back using all resources at your disposal until you break into the HQ to bring them down from the inside. The ending is great. Definately more understandable for anyone who finished Half Life 1

Enemies - Great AI. Enemies run for cover, advance, lay down suppressing fire while you're running from a strider. Too good to be original xbox really. The variety of enemies wasnt bad either. Special forces elite, bog standard infantry, snipers, light assault etc etc

And the headcrabs including victims. Half Lifes zombies. Of course, a headshot renders them inoperable. Especially when shot with the .357 or shotgun. You need to be absolutely callous and cruel with these guys, slow movers but they gang up quick.
Top Tip: Use the gravity gun to pick up a circular saw blade then fire it at them. Cuts them right in half, sometimes however the headcrab will just get off the body and try to latch onto you so be vigilent. And it goes through whoever behind them too.

AND they have the ragdoll death effect! Its fantastic to blow an enemie with a shotgun into a 500ft fall into water. And even better yet, the body floats!

Allies - Could've done better but they served me well all the same. Not many but when ones dies in your team, usually another pops along. They also take the best weapons they can find lying around for greater firepower. Facial expressions were great and realistic. Their ocassional battlecry and burst of fire had me smiling for hours. They even have medics who heal those around them

Environment - Stunning. Worthy of the 360. Water is real as hell, characters move fluently, Sunshine reflects, anything you can imagine was there. Makes you proud to own an xbox really.
Tip: When in battle your environment has many uses

I'll give all xbox owners a shout, Buy this game. You wont regret it, you are more likely to thank me for gluing you to your xbox

you need to add more facts about the game, you just added opinions which is good still, just scratch those corners for more info ;)

Sorry but as someone who has never played the Half Life series this review was not helpful in making me understand why this is a 5 star product, which is a shame because after seeing the rating you had given this game I was dying to hear more! If you expand on it let me know.
