I have been banking with Halifax for twenty years and in the past have done 99% of my banking over the telephone. I have found being able to access my account on the internet has been a great help and I can do everything I need to do at the touch of a button.
One complaint I do have however is with regard to the logging in system. On countless occasions I have entered the correct information and have been told that I have been refused access. Each time this happens I have to phone a customer representative and re enter all my details into the system again which is time consuming and monotenous.
Apart from this log in problem I have no other complaints. I trust that in the not too distant future all problems will be sorted out and we should thereafter have an effective efficient service.

Advantages: Plenty of articles, has some messageboards, excellant quotes facilities Disadvantages: They've just ditched their Shares portfolio service, which was light years better than any similar service on the 'net
