Advantages Good interest rates
Disadvantages You are left to enquire where the money has gone
I opened a monthly saver £500 per month for 12 months, at its anniversary this acount would automatically close and procedes be transferred to a "nominated account". Rather helpfully Halifax opened an additional acount and declared it to be my "nominated acount". So this acount sits there empty for 11 months - then they closed it - no money in it you see. An email telling me about it? - no way. So my monthly saver completes, automatically closes and the money goes where? I'd love to know but they don't seem to know either. Brilliant, systematic, automatic and wrong.
And after transferring the money who knows where do they email and tell you. Again no way.Mind you they do seem to be able to ring offering all their other banking services, on a weekly basis.

Sorry for the low rating but the 'off topic' rating is needed to show readers that (in this case) the topic you have written about has been posted into the wrong category. You can email Ciao and ask to have your review moved to a more appropriate area. If you include a lot more information about the range of services offered by the bank, their charges, quality of service overall, you should receive much better ratings.

If you take a look at the actual subject matte thatis in question (at the top of the review on your page as you are writing), then you will see that this is meant to be on the online banking service that Halifax gives you. If you want to write about an account you have, then do it in the right area.
