Advantages very tasty great price
Disadvantages none
In my opinion the Tesco Halloumi Cheese is just as good as any other and I have tried a lot of different Halloumi cheeses, the cheese is originated from cyprus but is very popular in the rest of the middle east & Greece and now world wide.
Halloumi cheese is a source of goat or sheep's milk but some can contain cow's milk. It can be grilled or fried but the most popular is fried with a little olive oil as the cheese can become to rubbery if grilled in my opinion fried is a lot better.Tesco Halloumi cheese varys in price depending on weight but on average about just over £2 approx. great in salads,or pitta bread , I have it with pitta bread and some greek or non greek sausages with a little salad and some taramousalata it;s very nice.
Overall the tesco halloumi cheese is very nice has a lovely flavour with a mozzarella like texture kept in it's natural jucices flavoured with mint and the kids love it also.little tip;-when you do open the packet make sure you dont loose too much of the juices as the cheese will tend to dry out.
