I have written a review on a similar product, it was hdmi connectors to hdmi connector so I could only connect my laptop up to the TV. The five meter long Hamacable has hdmi connectors and DVI connectors.
I bought this handy cable off 7 day shop for £20.00 i think they don't sell it anymore but they do sell other ones with gold plating so they have more detail. I'm sure they sell the on amazon and eBay as well at a much lower price than i first got mine.
For those people who don't know look at the products picture in the top left hand corner of this page. Hdmi cable (High Definition Multimedia Interface) IS the smaller one pictured on the left while the DVI cable (Digital Visual Interface)is the bigger one on the right hand side.

I am definately not a techno type of person but can certainly recommend this data cable. It is a useful, functional piece of equipment which allows you to link your Sony camcorder to any kind of PC.
The main thing I would say is, that if you find yourself in need of this cable then the best thing to do is to shop around. There are bargains to be had and quite big differences in the prices charged for it.
Amazon is quite a good place to look, as not only do you get an Amazon price but there are other offers to be found there for new cables too. When I was looking the best deal available was £7.99 (plus shipping). Or of course you could order from Amazon when you are buying other items and then be eligible for free shipping if you spend £15. I've owned a 1.5DCI Dynamique from new (2004) and have covered 63,000 miles. Had a couple of minor things fixed under warranty, door handle paint and steering column knock(?), despite not buying the car from a Main Dealer they honoured warranty repairs. Cheap Road Tax, Car Insurance, comfortable, lots of toys and economical. The only unusual fault was an intermittent STOP / OIL indication, which lasted a day or two - suspected wet electrics when the car was serviced by a non-Renault garage. At the time I was a bit unnerved by the complexity of the electronic systems, 7 units talking hooked up to diagnostics, but it settled down. That was 6,000 miles ago though. Interestingly the stalling of the rear wash wipe (common) is a s/w fault, in my case I didn't bother mentioning this until the STOP light problem, but it could have beenfixed ...
