Advantages: Compact and Portability Disadvantages: Price
This USBPowerAdapter is a must accessory to have if you have any kinds of iPods. As you would know, when you buy an iPod, you will only receive the iPod itself and the link cable. This means the only way you can charge the iPod is through the computer. However, this is disadvantage for many reasons since you would need to make sure the computer is on when charging. Because its USB charged, it takes quite a long time to charge it to full.
This USBPowerAdapter deals with all of the charging problems and many others. The size of the poweradapter is very compact, with its dimension of 4cm by 4cm (estimate and could be different when bought from different country). It is also not so heavy for portable use.
Also, you can change the adapter itself to European, Asian or wherever with great convenience. All you have to do is slide it ...
Advantages: Convenient for quick charging . Fully compatible Disadvantages: Pricy for an adapter...

~~~~~iPod with video
This should be the first thing you need to buy for your iPod - whatever model it ...
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Provides a dangerous tool for defeating the safety built into UK sockets
I write as a qualified electrical engineer and fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the professional body for UK engineers.
I would like to draw attention to the DANGERS of using socket covers.
Since the 1940's the 13A powersockets used in the UK have had to incorporate a shutter mechanism which prevents anything but a power plug being inserted into them, thus little fingers cannot touch anything dangerous. Socket covers will fit into a socket because they are designed to be the same shape as a power plug, however small differences in their design mean that it is possible to insert them upside down into the earth socket only, this disables the safety mechanism and renders the socket dangerous.
