This hand mixer saves a lot of elbow grease when baking. It is great for mixing ingredients for cakes and for whipping cream and also does an excellent job of whisking egg whites to make meringue. It has a shiny "stainless steel look" finish, with some black detail. ...chrome is nice but the Sabichi has the classic white plastic look that works well with my kitchen, plus the fact I always store my mixer in the cupboard and I never have an audience when baking so the colour or material is irrelevant to my needs.
