Advantages: Easy to read, funny, identifiable main character
Disadvantages: ein bisschen predictable

...'s a bit weird about them, and she decides to help them. Then she gets her big break - in a Dog Food advert on TV - and meets Dan, gorgeous womaniser, and eventually gets heartbroken and ends up with someone else (well one wouldnt want to spoil the ending :-D). The Reluctant Landlady is funny, romantic, antidepressant, sarcastic and just well really good! It was Bernadette's first novel - she'd previously written for Chat, Bella, Woman's Own and J17. The book is most definitely a trashy romance novel - but unlike the works of Danielle Steel and Jackie Collins, its actually intelligently written at the same time and interesting, its not describing perfect perfect people, although it is very easy to read. Especially recommended for girls - its the book equivalent of a chick-flick i think, some guys will like it like myself... Read review

...The Young Person's Guide to Saving the Planet This environmental information book by Debbie Silver and Bernadette Vallely is one of the clearest and most informative for young people. It is set out in alphabetical format. Addressing each issue as it comes up in alphabetical order. It covers acid rain to vegetarianism, the ozone layer to whales. I found it very easy to look up what I wanted. It tells you all about the issue and then tells you what you can do to help. You end up well informed and able to develop your own opinions. Advantages: Briliant in detail about master cheif his life ,detail about halo and whole stroy
Disadvantages: some swearwords, not for all ages

...This is so far one of the best book i have read, it gets you thinking, get's you imagining with all the gun fight's and the drama in the story it's the one to read, this story is based on the halo game, but it a tells the life of the master cheif who is the main charecter in the story. There are 3 books from halo: Fall of reach Halo: The flood Halo First strike. They all are brilliant books The book also add's how the whole halo thing started which is the advantage becuase it dosen't fully say in th game, another advantage is the life of master cheif how he became a sparten. My view/experience reading this book was amazing it will boost your imagination and if you own the halo game or not then it worth giving this book a try (all 3 books are excellent)... Read review
