Advantages Well-researched, eye witness interviews and dozens of supporting pictures
Disadvantages Slightly disjointed by placement of eye witness stories

Being a lover of everything relating to World War Two, this was one of those stocking fillers that really was a pleasant surprise for me. I thought I knew the Second World War inside out. I knew about battles, armies, invasions and the horror stories of those on the recieving end of Hitler and Mussolini's wrath. Well I thought I knew, then I was fortunate enough to be properly informed by this unique and surprising reference book. Actually, calling it a reference book is a little generalised.
