    2 Stars Quick review of Hankook Ventus Prime K105 by ian_b 04/07/2007
    These tyres fitted as OEM on my 2005 Mondeo. Tyres never spun or kerbed or underinflated and they are to legal limit in just 18,000 miles. I can't see from the pattern how they displace water effectively as grooves round the tyre have no cross channels out to the tyre wall. I've just fitted Goodyear Eagle NCT5's to front and I can't believe how quiet they are compared to the back 2 remaining Hankooks. There are better tyres out there - don't just replace because they were on the car new. Can't wait for the back's to be replaced with Goodyears.

    Advantages Advantages The best wet or dry handling & braking ever experienced. Low noise & great longevity.

    This applies to anyone who is in the market for new tyres in the near future: I bought my latest used car knowing that all 4 tryes needed replacing. After much www. searching i collated a report from test results found, to highlight the best tyres for a medium budget. All tests basically boiled down to naming HanKook Tyres as the ones to go for. I called numerous tyre fitting centres and obtained quotes. I came up trumps. I was offered Hankook Ventus Prime K105, 205/55R16 91V, fully fitted, valve and balanced for a very reasonable figure.     Hankook tyre company spent around 2,500,000 GBP in 2 years to develop this tyre. It also has marked top from the ADAC magazine(One of the biggest car magazine in German). In that magazine, only 3 tyres were on top which are Hankook Ventus Prime K105, Pirelli P7 and Michellin Pilot Exalto PE2. Furthermore, VW, Ford, Audi, Seat, Volvo, Daihatu, Mitsbishi and some other manufatures have chosen this tyre for their OEM rather than Micheelin or Goodyear.     I was not expecting such performance from a tyre brand even I haven't heard it's name before. It is quite and it is oerforming well.
