My granddaughter is a fan of Hannah Montana and she watches the programme on the television. At Christmas this year her mum bought her the Hannah Montana annual (2012) and Angelica seems to love it. It doesn’t seem so long ago when she was reading things which were for a much younger child but she seems to be growing up now.

The annual seems to be packed with all sorts of fun for little girls who admire this character and the TV series. It is full of stories of Hannah and all her friends and puzzles and games for the reader to do. It is aimed at the slightly older girls though I think it appeals to the younger ones aswell. It’ s hard backed and has just over 70 pages in it and it cost £2.99. The cover is nice and pink and has a flattering photograph of Hannah Montana.

Further on in the book I noticed there were style tips for doing your hair and applying you make up like toes and finger nails and ideas for making your own nail art. The quizzes seem to appeal to my granddaughter and she tests her knowledge to see how much she knows about the character and her friends from the TV series and she seems to know all about them.

I am not sure I think all the things in the book are quite suitable for a girl of my granddaughter’s age as she is just seven years old but her mum seems to think it is fine. This book would not appeal to boys and it is a lovely gift to a girl who is a fan of this character and it will keep her amused for a long time as the annual seems to be packed with allsorts of things to entertain and amuse her.
