When looking for a new monitor, one has to remember and have in mind that the computer monitor is perhaps the most used and most depended upon peripheral that you will have attached to your screen. Many of other peripherals attached to your computer tower will be used only occasionally (you can choose to use them or not to use them), but you will depend on and use your monitor, every time your computer gets turned on. Thus, a great and fully functional monitor is crucial in designing and choosing any computer system.
However, even though it is nice to own and work with a recognized brand name, not everyone can afford buying the top of the line brand
monitor screen. Sometimes one has to settle with the second best and look for an alternate solution and brand that fits within one's budget and price range.
However, settling for a second best does not necessarily have to mean that one has to sacrifice on quality, great look, reliability and ease of use that in many cases become to be associated with the better recognized brand name monitor screens.
HansolElectronics, a major Korean manufacturing giant, has been known to produce great looking line of monitors at more than affordable prices. Furthermore, those monitors have been known to be fairly reliable and easy to maintain and operate, making them a quite viable choice for an average home user.
Hansol 910A is one of older 19" models from such line of monitors. However, if you are looking for a cheap 19" monitor to use for a home or a small business, do not hesitate to look around. The fact that this has been discontinued product does not necessarily mean that you have to avoid using it. My experience as a computer consultant has shown me that such products that are usually a bit older are still excellent buy because they still offer great functionality and quality as the newer line of products with the difference that you can quite often find them at a bargain price that could be much cheaper than the most recent models.
With 19" screen (18" viewable area) and a DPI of 0.26mm (0.22 horizontal) and a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz (optimum resolution of 1024 x 768 @ 85Hz) this is a great entry to mid level monitor for a home as well as office use. Furthermore, as with many other models from Hansol's line of monitors, the 910A is exceptionally easy to use and tweak to your exact specifications, with its easy and straight forward customizable on screen menu, thus making it an excellent choice for an user with minimum or no computer use experience.
Last but not the least, as mentioned previously, Hansol monitors have been known to be designed as tough and reliable. The 910A is no exception to this rule and has been proven to work flawlessly much beyond the first three years that are covered by Hansol's manufacturer's warranty.
However, if you ever do need repairs to your monitor, Hansol 910A as with most other models from Hansol's line is quite cheap to repair with plenty of places offering both warranty and out of warranty service repairs, thus making it affordable to keep and work with for many years to come.
For those who are interested in learning more about this particular model I suggest visiting this link:
I would also suggest that you consider visiting and exploring other models from Hansol's extensive line before making your final decision as you might be surprised how many features and how great quality you can find in Hansol at a price that is more than affordable for an average home user.Note.
If you are interested in getting the idea as far as the cost of this unit, I would suggest visiting any of internet retailers and comparing costs there. The computer equipment prices are volatile and changing, thus a fixed price here would only be misleading to you as it might not reflect what the equipment would be worth two weeks from today. To get a general idea as to how much this unit would cost I would recommend visiting Pricegrabber at www.pricegrabber.com, where you can get updated pricing from several established e-vendors.
