Hanson HX400 Glass

Advantages: Easy to clean, cheap and effective.
Disadvantages: Glass jug is quite heavy and sometimes it doesn't blend efficiently

...After my previous, very expensive, blender blew up, I decided to go for a cheaper model and opted for the Cookworks blender with glass jug and, considering it came in at just under £20, it's a very effective blender. This has 2 speeds plus a pulse option. The glass jug is very simple to clean, unlike plastic ones which may be lighter but have the disadvantage of material clinging to the sides. With the glass jug, everything is washed away very quickly. The lid is rubbery/bendy plastic which gives a very tight fit so no chance of the lid flying off and splattering all over the kitchen and the stopper is one of those that is push and twist to secure. Drawbacks are that the glass jug is really quite heavy and obviously breakable if dropped. I use mine for smoothies, sauces and soups and have found that sometimes, even on the top... Read review

Advantages: Clear, consistent weight
Disadvantages: You can't use the excuse "My scales are wrong..."

...I bought these scales just over 2 years ago now, they are electronic and they have been very reliable. I originally bought them because I was fed up with my Hanson scales that would never give a consistent reading. I like these scales because they tell me exactly how much I weigh (to the nearest 100g or 0.2lb). **Appearance** The scales are mainly grey/silver in colour with a black triangle wedge shape in the top which contains the LCD display. There is also a cut out shape (see picture) which makes it look quite cool. The silver main section has indented circles all the way round. Overall the scales look quite modern but would not look out of place in any bathroom, new or old. Advantages: good quality reliable fridge
Disadvantages: bottom shelf liable to break

...excellent fridge generally with good capacity, cheap to run and modern clean ines styling, the interior has plaenty of space with one glass shelf and 2 wire. Our glass shelf did break but an be easily replaced online. We have had no real issue with this fridge it is still with us after 4 years and operating well, looks good and is easy to maintain The door storage is vast allowing you to store 2 large mil;ks and 2 bottles of joice, with shelf capacity for condiments and a covered comparment also Box storage is also povided under a glass shelf which will more than accomodate and families vegitable requirements Overall a good quality product, compact but competant and very good value for money, would recomend...
