You could always visit Enid Blytons house at Hanton, this village also has an aerodrome ad a fun fair you can watch the little people on the roundabout having fun.
Nr this village there is a miniature copy of the maze at Hampton court
Some of the buildings in this model village are the original ones some are additions. They all look very real and have interesting details added to them. The church often has a wedding service. The shops have great names but I am sorry I cannot recall them correctly they are names such as mr Green the greengrocer, mr Ham the butcher.
All the models look just like a real building that has been shrunk. The scale is 1 inch to 1 foot. There are a lot of plants and miniature trees on this site all trimmed down to match the size of the village ...
Advantages: Can be helpful. Disadvantages: So many different types to choose from.
