In my opinion the only advantage that i can mention is the Manufacturer's support. He never let me down even for a single time when i went to him for servicing this HDD when it got repaired. :-)

The hardrive is fairly hard wearing, mine has survived a few bumps and scratches... and my xbox deciding it didnt like standing horizontal and wanted to go vertical... dont ask.
The 120gb hardrive costs around £80 which is alright but when you consider you can get 200gb hardrives for PC's for £50 its not so great.
