THE MEMORY DEVICE.
Review of Freecom Classic Mobile 2.5" Hard Drive USB-2 120 GB by packerlist

Advantages: portable and free spaces
Disadvantages: LOW IN PROFILE.

...my computer. The Freecom storage device has enough memory storage space that will be able to store your information almost to infinity. It also comes in a shinny black rectangular structure. I think that I have gotten up the point of buying some thing that has larger space for my system because my 4 GB hard drive cant carry on any longer and I have to get this in support of the existing 4GB drive. Well I have to be frank by saying that this is ...
...OF USE. The freecom classic is a storage device that does not require much technique for installation and use. Does not need any driver and it is recognized by modern operating system just like any other removable drive or the flash drive and normally assess through the normal method of my computer and file manager explorer. The file opens and you are enabled to operate just like any other hard drive. There are ways to know whether the USB has two ... Read review

The Captain Scarlet of removable drives
Review of Freecom ToughDrive Pro Hard drive 120 GB by Miskah

Advantages: Extremely durable, vast capacity, simple to use, reasonable price
Disadvantages: Not always plug & pay ; needs software installation on a few PC's

...problems with whatsoever is the Freecom ToughDrive Pro Hard drive 120 GB. This was given to me as a present by the man in my life (who in truth could be described as an IT geek) I have had several memory sticks in the past as I frequently carry projects to and from home, work, meetings and conferences and they have become a real part of my life and one that I couldn’t manage without ( sad but true) I’ve had problems in the past from loosing memory ...
...move to the solution the Freecom ToughDrive Pro Hard drive 120 GB. This is exactly what it says it is ; an extra hard drive but one that moves around with you , and rather than stuck inside your PC it can be attached to any PC you use (just like a memory stick) Advantages of the Freecom: Its shockproof, able to withstand being dropped from up to 7 ft according to manufacturers specifications. I’ve never had it fall that far in one go but it has ... Read review

Hard drive - hard worker, worth it.
Review of Freecom Mobile Drive Hard drive 80 GB by flimfan

Advantages: Good amount of storage for price, durable, quiet, cool running, works with all systems
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!

I bought this hard drive quite a while ago, when the lowest price was around £70. I needed an extra bit of storage to go with my 250GB external drive and my laptop with just 60GB. I thought this was a great idea, mainly because it didn't need an AC adapter to provide the power, it just needed a USB socket. You can buy an adapter, but unless you have a desktop computer, or your laptop eats the battery, you really don't need it. I've never needed ...
...just a plug-and-play experience under Windows. All I needed to do was convert it from fat32 to NTFS. I thought I was going to run into major problems when I changed my system to Linux, but, along with my other drive, it was easy to get it set up to read and write data. Hard working, it is quite fast accessing, and very quiet, which is a bonus. The only little problem I've had is when I switch on my laptop and it, very rarely, doesn't get recognised ... Read review

FreeAgent Go 120 GB
Review of FreeAgent Go 120 GB by Jammie1000000

Advantages: Very fast, quiet and sleek design
Disadvantages: Could have a bigger capacity

...an 80gb hard drive from FreeAgent Go. The transfer speeds between a PC/laptop to the hard drive are very fast with speeds of 5400RPM, a fast speed for a hard drive of that capacity. Software There is little amount of software already installed onto the hard drive however the software that is installed is very useful enabling the user to enable passwords and safenotes using the AI RoboForm which can easily be downloaded from the ceedo program ...
...Argos, but it can also be bought at many computer based stores including PC World. Costs usually vary between £60 and £80 but if you look in the right places you can probably find a new one for around £50. Problems/Other Info There have currently been no problems with this hard drive, it was easy to install with no formatting or installation of programs, just plug it straight into the USB port and your ready to transfer data straight away. ... External Hard Drive Fun
Review of Archos ARCDisk Hard Drive USB Key 4 GB by burns2007

Advantages: Size, Easy to Use, Quick, Simple
Disadvantages: Could be a little bigger in capacity

This small external hard drive is very similar to some of the portable flash/pen drives that are going around at the moment. When I bought it a couple of years ago I was very impressed with what it could do making it easy to take files back and forth no matter where I went on a day to day basis. At the moment this external hard drive is selling for an average of £30 to £35 which isn't too bad. Power ********** Like some of the USB flash drives ...
...can draw power directly from the USB that is been used to transfer data back and forth which means there is no need for any additional power cables etc that you would expect with some devices. Design ********** The beauty about this external hard drive is that is starts off as a square/rectangular shaped device which is able to fit easily into any pocket or bag. When you want to use it all that the user needs to do is open it up to allow the USB ... Read review
