Now this is what I call a toy. 2 wands with more uses than... well... wands. Not quite the representation of the wands which I imagined in Potter... although these bad boys can still be used for dueling. I was intrigued to see that this product was classified under the 'Dress up and Role Play' category... very interesting. For younger children then dressing up as Harry Potter can be fun... but role play can also be fun for adults too. This wand really can work magic when used to it's full potential. The key thing you need to remeber is to stress your letters e.g. wingaaarrdium levioosaaaaaa rather than wingardium leviosa - this product can really make things fly in the air.The tip of the wand is only a few mm in length so is perfect for any insertions that may want to take place, for example if you leave your keys in a small hole. Advantages: actors, features,price
Disadvantages: none that i can think of

Everybody knows the story of Harry Potter the young wisard and most people have read all of the books. I think that the director has found the perfect people to play the parts in the movies. I do think that the later movies are better than the first three and have more action and are always keeping you on the edge of your seat. I do have to say that these movies are very realistic, such as all of the characters and all of the magic that is going on. Harry Potter is one of the greatest book series that have come out and now I thinlk that they will be one of the greatest series of movies. Review of Harry Potter - Years 1-5 (Box Set) (DVD)

Harry Potter Box-Set, Truly magical

Advantages: Super reading, excellent presentation, it's Harry Potter!

I grew up with the Harry Potter novels, reading the first one when I was ten in my year 5 classes and then every year from then on when another was released! I must say they are some of the greatest stories I've ever read, chronicling the adventures, love, life, and loss of a truly legendary set of characters. The first few books are short enough (and no less enjoyable) to read in a few sittings, perfect for younger children to get to grips with harder literature and to evoke their interest for reading. As for books 4-7, the only word is epic. Yet it never feels like it, as you enjoyed it so much reading it it's gone before you know it! The world of Hogwarts and the surrounding areas is described so beautifully you almost think you're there. If only an owl would go past the window...
